Love is...

So finally Singapore was a nice break from the recent family holidays and was pampered by H so all is good  When we did shop together he was always good waiting at hand and even offering to pay. I'm now kicking myself for taking up the offers but I thought it was a bit too much as he was forking out for lots of other stuff already. I finally got my dance shoes though I opted for DanceAmo instead of Superdance cos I liked the bling on the shoes

I squealed in delight when I saw my package from Scrappingcove and promptly sat on the floor to open up my little package of goodies like a kid opening presents. This was after my visit to Laine's and spending more than I intended there  I now have 3 magazines of my own to refer to and can finally return Ads... Clothes were not really my priority this time as I already got so much from China, Vietnam and Bingo and have yet to clear out my closet of the older stuff and still do not have any clothes to wear  Hoping to scrap tonight after spending so much and I finally have lots of Prima flowers to work with as well

In lieu of all my spending on scrapbooking stuff (Jazzscraps is right....its really difficult to stop), I forfeited buying the Ipod Shuffle (cos I havent gone back to the gym anyway) and the lovely H bought it for me as a Valentines gift  The only fault is the unromantic way it was handed to me but I have decided after this weekend away that he my little Chinaman...

So what did I get? Well, I didnt buy any patterned paper at Laines cos I knew once I started I wouldnt stop and I had already ordered a paper pack from Scrappingcove and had put some on my wishlist for Shabby Chic. Instead I got a couple of bottles of Prima flowers, a circle cutter, ribbon, punches, sticker stack, buttons and various other embelishments from Laines. I decided I would stock up on eyelets and brads at Shabby as its cheaper with my discount there. I cant wait to try my modge podge and crackle accent from Scrappingcove as well as my chipboards and Xyron sticker maker. Lovely Julie also gave me a little something to say thank you for the business which was placed in a lovely flower tin. I've always wanted to try skeleton leaves and I gotta figure out something to do with the few she has given me as well as the beads and pattered eyelets. I've now transferred the flowers from my bitty bag into the tin and placed the embelishments elsewhere. Cant wait for basketball season to start again so I can do a few LO of H in action...

Hmm, H is going to Singapore again next month for training....very tempted to go and do some scrapbook classes then but then Ching is doing her accordian album class soon....might wait for Adeline to get out of confinement before I join that....it will be nice for my room  Gotta get H to go to Shabby soon to get my stuff!!

OK enough about scrapping...the CNY is coming up....cant wait!!

P.S. Will be doing a Daddy LO tonight and something else for myself with lotsa flowers....after belly dancing rehersal of course since I've been missing so many other rehersals

5 days to go...

I dont know why doing trials is so tiring but it just is. Having to do all that preparation beforehand then concentrating all day thinking of ways to upstage your opponent and standing for hours in heels....I actually got numb toes just from this morning....

I've clocked up an embarassingly large amount of spending in Shabby the past couple of weeks. Cant seem to go to the Mall without stopping there  Its the most I've ever spent at one shop in Brunei anyways.....I havent done anything for a week cos of my workload and the numerous birthdays that have been popping up. Due to leave to H's house to finish off something I started on last night before going to dinner (yup, I've moved my workstation)...  After this i think I've done enough for me and H for now...I'll make EL a page for his birthday next week and finally get started on my family album. I wanna try and get in as many pictures of Daddy as possible to enable his grandchildren to know what a great father he was and what a great grandfather he would have been. Gonna have to practice my journalling for this one and be very sure about my layouts cos the pictures are absolutely precious...

I've ordered more srapbooking stuff from Julie and will pop into Laines while I'm in Singapore. I have to put aside at least $200 for a pair of dance shoes. My chacha routine is finally getting there! Lots of fine dining and alcohol consumption scheduled for Singapore as well as the much anticipated shopping of course! Rudy, LM and Alissa should know some good places! Thank god for the upcoming CNY and the much coveted red packets!!

OK I'll admit it...

Kudos to Sha who's got me to confess being a scrapperholic....I really need to scrap today. If Put doesnt have a birthday dinner tonight, I'm so going to scrap after dance class. So stressed....don't know why....PMS is not helping either....I really need to move my work station to H's house....saves me from coming back to the office after dancing....belly dancing yesterday and tomorrow...all I can hear in my head are the jingles n jangles of the scarf....

Two little ones are having their birthdays consecutively on Friday and Saturday....H will be meeting many of my extended family whom even I havent seen for some time....its going to be an interesting night....

Argh! I need to make a couple more layouts! The ideas are swimming in my head!!

Welcome little one...

Ads  has SO MUCH scrapbooking stuff!! Her collection is amazing (not to mention) expensive. Since getting into scrapbooking I made VIP member at Shabby in like a week and have done 3 pages and a card since. Have taken pics of the card and waiting for the pics from the pages I gave YS and LM. Shabby enticed me with their new stock which I spent a BOMB on. See, the thing is, I went to see Ads and her collection before Ching's new stock came so I learnt all about stocking up cos you never know when you're going to need the stuff. So when I went to Shabby and found that Ads had taken the last Far East paper stack, I didnt want to risk losing others!!! Gotta admire that woman tho....as she had given birth on the day she was due to check out Shabby's new collection, she made a phone order for the stuff!! Talk about committed!!

I'm quite happy with the card I made on Saturday though it was a bit messy inside cos I didnt stick one of my papers properly. The card had a shaker box on the cover....something I knew I wanted to make as soon as I saw it in the scrapbooking encylopedia.... and I added a butterfly I got from Hokko in the corner after the words "Thinking of you" above the shaker box. Some shiny flowery ribbon from Hokko again did the trick to finish off my card layout. Hope my sis likes the card anyways. All was made easier with the big pill box I bought to help me sort out my embelishments, brads and ribbons

My colleague likes the layouts I've done so far so she's going to commission me to make one for her and hubby and another for her kids. I'm still waiting for EL to pass me pics of his kids to scrap cos they are just sooo cute! I've found a cool picture of Dad n Ipo for me to do a page...the layout has been in my head all weekend. I have yet to get started on the mosaic one as well. Dance is consuming half of my after work time now so I'll be moving my scrapbooking station. H and his mum have willing given me space in their under-used basement or his sister's (who is studying in Oz) room so I'm just looking for a little container to store all my stuff out of their way before I move my station there.

Miri at the weekend was so tiring....why are kids always so difficult to entertain and keep a rein on? Cant wait to go to Singapore with H to get a nice break where he looks after me for a change  Julie seems to have more stuff than Jane so I'm jus going to order from her this time. Have to keep my bank account in check as I plan to do some shopping in Singapore. Fortunately I've got tons of new clothes from my clothes shopping itch and travels the past couple of months so I'm ok for CNY....just need new shoes....

With 3 trials next month, more dance rehersals, a weekend getaway in S'pore and CNY, I'm so choc-a-block for February....someone give me a spa pampering voucher please!
