What have you been doing over the 1st July Holiday???? I have been to the movies again, and used most of my time preparing for exams.

On Saturday I had to go back to the office so began my 1st day of Internship. I was told to go over a case and to finish some accounting work that morning, which with the help of fellow collegues I managed to finish on time using 2007 Excel. I guess I really need to brush up my internet skills... HAHA

Sunday came as usual = Dim Sum Lunch and grocery shopping. I used rest of the day studying for my coming exam on Tuesday on PRC Law and prepare for the case... which I then remembered I had to go to court on Tuesday....... SO I really had to move!!

Monday was neat, Dim Sum again for lunch then went to the movies with family. Luckily Ifinished everything on Sunday else I will be in deep trouble. Afterwards we just walk around in Causeway Bay and found a nice Italian restaurant near Pokka Cafe. Then all of a sudden I received call that my Grandpa had fallen very ill and we drove him to Hospital....Now he spends the night there............

Hope he will get well sooon!!!!!!

OH!!!! Talk about intenstive work tomorrow Court => Office => Exams in evening...............and MORE Court preperations on Weds.......

I need to sleep!!! Fast!!!

Until next time then!!!!!

Vacation in Tokyo: Shopping for best-buys, and the many "First Times"

Hey guys! I am BACK!!!!

Actually I am back on Tuesday evening.........forgive my inefficency in updating Xanga...which again is not the first time.......

First thing's first: NO PRESENTS!!! So DON'T EVEN ask! (Thank you)

This trip is quite memorable, there are many "1st times" in this trip: First time visiting the Imperial Palace; First time going to a Factory Outlet in Yokohama; First time NOT knowing that the Curry Museum is GONE AFTER we actually got there (we walked from MM21...like 1 JR-station in distance); First time I bought a Porter (the brand)item; First time I refuse going to the Fish Market for sushi; First time I go to Muji's Megastore in Tokyo, which by the way I had lunch at the Muji Restaurant/canteen as well; First time I bought a DVD for 1000 Yen (the movie is, yes you guessed it, Star Wars Episode III DVD...I just couldn't resist); The First time I had Indian food in Japan; the FIRST time I saw commercials in JR and on TV advertising BONDS to citizens at 50,000 Yen each; and the VERY FIRST time Warren spent more money then I in Tokyo!!!!!!!!!! (Finally I could step down from the position of No.1 spender.....)

Overall everything is great, except for the weather which was quite cloudy, but on Friday we managed to see sunshine in Akihabara. The hotel (or Ryokon's) location is alright after considering its price and that I took my very mobile luggage. We managed to visit places each of us wanted to go and accomodating each-other's interests (You know what I mean !!).

I actually bought a new telephone for my room, at 10502 Yen (because 10,000 Yen above = Tax Free) which is the most expensive thing I bought. The neat thing is: it is the same design as the Muji telephone I deeply fond of which is tagged 16XXX Yen in Muji!!!!!!!

All in all I am SO SO SO satisfied from the trip.

AND my legs still sores.....................but in a good way!!!!!!!!!!

NOW........I am looking forward to my Summer Internship starting July..............

THEY CLAIM they will pay me a few thousand dollars this time.....

AGAIN, a FIRST in HISTORY!!! Thank GOD!!!! I am getting paid at last!!!!!!!!!!

From Majog to Interviews to Vacation

Sorry guys it appears I have forgotten to write xanga again, perhaps not that I subconsciously refuse to write, it might have something to do with the episodes that have taken place which struck me dizzy. First things first:

Episode 1 Winning in a Majog match (?!)

Monday was just the usual thus I am skipping. Tuesday was Dragon Boat Festival and us merry men and woman (MS YF WONG)gathered at Warren's and commenced a round of majog contest. Being exceptionally lucky and applying a few tricks I have learned from my grandparents (which cost me a small fortune this last Chinese New Year) I managed to win around 500 hundred credits (I really don't know the exact term in descrbing "FAN" please let me know if anyone does) accounting 100 HKD in cash!!!!!!!!!! Lucky Lucky

Episode 2 Li and Fung Interview session

I applied of the position of Management Trainee and took their written test. They managed to reach me last minute on Monday and I have to iron all my clothes before leaving for Tuesday's Majog game.............At the venue we were divided into 6 person per group and given a little task - to come up with a plan and give a 15 min presentation using 1 hour preparation time. It was a miserable experience because I have encountered one young fellow whom managed to dominate the discussion and guided the whole team into the wrong direction...............It was after the whole interview that I learnt from the others that this fellow is quite famous in CUHK BBA Department for his original and exceptional skills......................................WORSE, we were graded by the HR Manager HERSELF....and she just kept on laughing the whole session.......................

The one piece of good news was that I was 1 out of 230 whom has been picked from the 2000+ applicants who had taken the written test..................and they are hiring only 20 at the end of the day......................

That is when I decided I need a Vacation, and start hunting for packages....

That is also where (in CWB) I ran into Bun and a Lady................(WHOM I am sorry to say I don't know who she is.......looks too young to be Bun's Elder sister....) Anyway............Tell me please Bun when you see this entry, I was too shy to ask in front of her last time..........and Iwas on the phone with my travel agent...

Episode 3 Vacation set

After lots of tumoils and changes to the original plans Warren and I finally managed to secure rooms in Tokyo area, which is a "Rokon". I am looking forward to this trip...I really need to ease my nerves.......................

Thus .....DON'T CALL ME until Wednesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!That especially goes for you MR. B CHAN!

I have to get up early tomorrow to catch my flight, so......

UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!!

Eating Eating Eating

I have gone to have a haircut this afternoon. Afterwards I had coffee with a very old friend of mine whom wishes not to disclose his whereabouts. In the evening I went to that Thai restaurant for dinner (AGAIN!?!) with a friend from KEELE so happened to be in Hong Kong. We shared memories of the gooood old days.....which made me feel so old all of a sudden..............

Nothing too spectacular....except eating quite a lot over the course of time..........

Until Next Time!

I need a Holiday BAD

I slept in 2 am last night because I must have been sleeping too much on Tuesday. Waking at 7:00 am I had all the work laid down in front of me. Then the computer started to breakdown......luckily it was just a minor glitch and after toiling for about 2 hours everything was back to normal. Frustrated at the situation I decided to call it a day as the work was rather unimportant afterall. I received an ivatation for lunch with BC thus had it at Watami Causeway Bay. Lunch was as usual and afterwards we moved to World Trade Center and played a few games on the Gundam firing game (or whatever). Once again it demonstrated how incapable I am handling acarde games.........a rather sad thing though....since I am a BIG Gundam fan. We had TEA at EoS Cafe and decided to join Simon, Philip, Martin Tong and his cousin Eric for dinner. After hunting around Causeway Bay for reasonably-priced options we finally settled in for hot-pot................ We had some very interesting conversations I have to announce my retirement back to bed because I am tooo drained from the day's activities.....and I begin to feel dizzy again..............

SO that is more or less it for today, I really need to get some rest.

Last but not least, wish Philip: "Bon Voyage"

Until next time guys!

Never shop at HMV

After a terribly long night(and yesterday) sleep I finally regain the strength to go on with my business. The doctor said that I have had too much sushi which might be the cause of my illness. As I have decided to stay in and clear my things a bit back home I dropped by HMV to pick up a DVD, yet not only was the Film I look for unavilable (it was just Star War Episode III which is not some special item) it took them almost 20 mins to acknowledge the condition. VERY efficient they are! Then again, as I discovered later tonight, that it will be shown on Star movies tonight..........thus this incident actually saved me money!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lesson of the day: Our wishes sometimes won't come true, but we never know whether the outcome is welcoming or frustrating.

Until next time!

Beware of Shellfish

Oh Dear?!

I haven't upload a single entry for almost 2 years?!!!!!!

I am sorry about that guys! SO let's start today then.

We shall kick-off with some bad news: I am very sick after having a Buffet in a restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui. All through the night I kept on waking up because my stomach and tummy aches, and had to rush to the bathroom. Thus this whole day (11th June) I had to slept in and lost my appetite, and YOU guys know how I am fond of FOOD.......................

NOW, I go to see a doctor......Until next time!

Monday, June 20, 2005

But anyone could have guessed that.

111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.

131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others.
