| Erica is gone . i miss her already. haha i missed her the second i walked away from her at the airport. haha needless to say we cried a lot. Anyway i had an awesome time with her. Just nothing else could have happen to make it better, well she could have stayed longer, haha.
anyway, jack johnson! haha i really really like him. I don't know, his songs are just so different. So i decided to download some of his other songs, other than the ones that i have on Robin's mixes . and i saw this one sitting, wishing, waiting. i was really disappointed. i have heard it before, i hadn't even realized he sung it. the song is alright, not one of my favorites, but its just so ordinary. It just seems like anyone could sing it. Which is why i was so surprised it was by him. I still really like him, but it was just i guess a disappointment. Plus he did a video for that! Of all songs to do a video for! i just have to avoid that song. OH and I got a QUEEN POSTER!!!! oh yeah i know you are all jealous. It's amazing.. im going to post a picture of it, its... there are no words for it's greatness. haha okay im probably exagerrating, but no actually i'm not.... Erica come on, back me up, haha.
Oh yeah we also saw Red Eye. It was so good. I loved Cillian Murphey's character. He was such an asshole but he was funny. One of the best i've seen this summer. It was suspenseful without being gory. I gripped onto my poster throughout the entire movie. And they had just the right amount of comic reliefs. haha awh man cillian murpheys character hahaha... I also saw Broken Flowers. Which at first i really liked it. But i don't know anymore. The acting and the dialogue was good. I just keep on thinking that it was almost like they were trying too hard to make it different, or like an indie movie, even though that's not what they were going for. Just some of the scenes seemed.... unnecessary? for example when he stands out on the deck of his hotel room. They shot, i want to say a minute, but 30 seconds at the least of his back and the street in the background. It really bothered me. I think this movie would have made a good book. Because there were just so many silent scenes, where you know Bill Murray's mind has to be going crazy, but it's just kind of boring staring at him think. But my favorite line was "i liked that outfit you weren't wearing earlier". haha the humor was pretty good. The conclusion of this movie left me unsatisfied though, even though it wasn't your a-typical hollywood ending which was nice, i just wanted to know more is all. I think i would give it a B or A-.
oh yeah... i think im going to get rid of the phantom music, which im sure all of you will be happy about. but i'm out of my phantom crazy obsession phase. well for now at least, it comes and goes. |
