I know kids, its been awhile...
to be honest there is way to much to tell by typing, its been quite the whilrwind.  Here are just a few positives that i can think of off the top of my head.  Things that i am thankful for
1).  Kevin and Bekah's wedding - It was a really great time, good to see both of them and hang out with kev and be a part of a momumental time in theirs lives.  It was very special.
2). Its been great having Chris Purdy and Mark Popsicle intern for me this summer, they are doing a great job even though they both think a bear would win if a Grizzly bear and African elephant got in a fight.  (Mark even has a picture of his bear which he refers to as a  "trained assassin," and "Beast" as his desktop wallpaper).  Today i just got it so that they can both go with me on a white water rafting trip in West Virginia.  Its an evangelistic trip, we take kids down with us along with youth group kids and work on getting them to know the lord as well as integrating them into a body of believers.
3).  MIssissippi - we just got back from doing a work trip down there.  It went extremely well, we took 23 students and 6 adults down there. ill include pictures as soon as i figure out how to do that.  Well kids thats enough for now because im tired.

I get to hire a new youth pastor which is pretty sweet.  Hes going to be over the middle school primarily.  Got the conformation today.  Thats going to take a lot of weight of so im really happy about that one but now the hiring process begins, woohoo.  This past sunday i did my first baptisms and baptized 5 people.  It was cool, an experience i would recommend for those of you who have pastoral hopes and dreams.  This week im going up to Kev's wedding with Scissors and his woman and im picking up Kim in chicago.  It should be a swell time.  Ive decided for a Card im going to get kevin a Thankyou Card, that way he doesnt have to send me one.  Chris and Mark come in a week as well.  Been making up some new events with some good success lately, so im pretty happy about that.  Getting ready to finish my schooling this summer.  Until next time kids.

Life is good, things are going well, but its no so much the circumstance as it is my relationship with God and seeing a lot of simple joys.  I really like mowing my lawn, theres something about mowing your own lawn.  Kev and Jonathan were here this weekend so that was good.  But this has just been a really great 2 weeks, i love what im doing! Things are going really well on the teaching front, the bible study i started thats going through the whole bible is a lot of fun and teaching theology is great! We finally started debating today over the depravity of man.  Its taken a few months to get to this point, lookin forward to it and the kids really seemed to learn and enjoy it.  This next week i have to teach/preach 5 times, its going to be a lot of teachin.  I got one of them down already and thats the continuing debate for theology.  Im talking about boredom during youth group on wednesday night and the condition that leads to it, as well as what the bible has to say about it.  Then im going to have to start teaching these tykes how to pray, and that starts next sunday.  I think thats going to take the most prep.  Im talking about the function of the church for youth group next sunday, that should be a great discussion.  Im not really a fan of lecturing/preaching, not really my gift anyways.  In Bible study we are coving the life of abraham this week.  Pray that this stuff will excite the kids like it excites me

Its official, im now ordained as a pastor (Hello Tax Breaks).  I finished the process today with an oral interview with the heads of my denomination.  It was a lot of fun and really encouraging.  On another note, started a high school bible study through the entire bible, tonight was week two, its going extremely well.  Thats all for now, sorry that im getting more general, it'll stay that way till i get internet at my house.
