One Month!
The older I become and the more of life I experience, the more convinced I am that time is a relative concept. Having Mercy has certainly done funny things to my perception of time. On the one hand, it feels as though we have always had her, and on the other, I can't believe that she has been a tangible part of our lives for a full month now. It took awhile to get it up, but you can now see a video of Mercy's homecoming in the post prior to this. I look terrible, but I am learning that no one looks beautiful after giving birth!

Having a baby is much like getting married. Before it happens to you you are told that it is hard--and it is. However, that doesn't mean that it isn't worth it. On the contrary. Though being married and embarking upon parenthood do require lots of work, the blessings that are reaped from them outweigh the difficulties exponentially.
So, today we thank the Lord for the month we have had with our beautiful baby girl, and look forward to many more days, weeks, months, and years to come!

Love the video! She is just precious! Can't wait to see her in person whenever you get to visit us at RCC! God is so good, isn't He! :)

@littlesunbeam - I am very much looking forward to getting to introduce her at RCC! Unfortunately, with gas prices doing what they are, it might be awhile. We were sad that we couldn't make it to family camp, but given the flu epidemic, it turned out to be a blessing since Mercy probably couldn't have handled the bug.
Just stopping by for a visit...Mercy is precious! Congrats!
