I learned sign language today!!!  It was part of language arts, and I was learning about gestures.  Naturally, sign language followed!  I would post a video, but Dad has the camera at the Ranch. Boohoo!  Well, you all can expect it when he gets back on Saturday!

    In The Throes Of Anticipation

We are all in the throes of anticipation of---

    ***Trumpet Fanfare***

    THE RANCH TRIP!!

Which will start tomorrow, when we leave at 6:00 to beat the heat to Globe.

Also, I have a sad announcement to make:

When we come home from the Ranch, Puke will no longer belong to us, as we are giving it to some neighbors up there.  Six people, two dogs, and all their luggage, in Jiminy, the Areostar minivan, on the way back.

    A Quickie Post

This weekend, Dad is at the Ranch, getting back on Sunday.  We have planned a jaunt with Uncle Jeff over to Avondale, to pick up the ***NEWLY FIXED CAMERA*** HURRAH!!! and also to take in Border Books, a furniture store, and then for supper.

Gotta go- we are going to tidy up the room and kitchen and then watch something!

    *~*~*~EDIT*~*~*~

It turns out we did not do any of the things I thought we would, except for picking up the camera and supper at Paradise Bakery and Cafe, which is aptly named.  Now, however, I am at the computer, unable to sleep, and waiting with great anticipation, for the midnight showing of Star Wars The Clone Wars.

Huh. I can't find a picture of it.  Oh well.

I'm off to read that book...

  • Interests: Reading, reading, and more reading! I also love calligraphy, beading, and embroidery. I have never tried quilting, but am sure it would be fun. I enjoy playing strategy board games, as well as challenging word games. Blogging is my latest hobby. I am in my second year of Latin, and would like to learn a romance language. I am also a puzzle freak.
