| So...I go home tomorrow---I am happy but I am sad that I did not do any typical "fun" stuff while I was here. The scenery is beautiful though! Yesterday, we went to the crest. It was awesome...we watched the sun set---when I get pictures, I will post them. It was really cold though. The sunset over the mountains were red and blue and yellow and organge-it was like nothing I had ever seen before---
After class today, we went to see Maggie's (Matt (our host) girlfriend) horses. That was cool! And we saw a pig-a really big pig-and it growled at us...weird huh? I thought so...but I got a picture of me petting a pig...lol. Btw, Matt is such a good host. I was a little worried at first about being here and then staying with a boy (didn't know how much fun that would be), but it has been great! It makes me feel better about the trip too cause I know Matt pretty well now and he is a really great guy. And, I was able to meet Maggie-she is pretty cool--she will be meeting Matt in Sydney later so maybe we might all go do something.
Anyway, I am pumped about the trip...sad to be away but excited!!! We saw picture of the great barrier reef today and it was so beautiful---I can't wait-that is going to be my favorite. | | |

| I am going to New Mexico tomorrow! Yay! I am so excited-but I am so tired...everything comes so fast... But I have never been to New mexico-I hope it will be fun and we get to play around some-we should be able to---five days for orientation is a little much so there must be some play time involved!
Anyway...

| Wow, the quarter is over. Can you believe it. I am working on my Australia outline/paper/lecture thing for my trip and that is all I have to do until I leave the states! Oh and I have to get my supplies still---but no more school work after this! Yes!
I feel very blah--I want to run around in circle to get out all the excess energy and tension but then at the same time, I want to sit here and do nothing-just relax. I guess I am still wound up from the quarter but tired at the same time. I am anxious about this summer, my trip, the MCAT, and next year. It's an odd feeling...hmmm...
la la la la la la la la....I think I am going to go home and straighten my hair...lol
