Eyes shutter shut,
Last breath enveloped in the passing,
The sun plummets down and the moon spins round,
While the stars scatter into place.
Bodies tremble and tears flood in the pews,
An unknown hand grasps a stranger’s.
Silence in the mind
Since words cannot be discovered,
Lives molded and made,
Hearts broken and numbed.
Answers aren’t meant to be found.
Sleepless nights
Accompanied with songs so memorable,
The little things seem so obvious now,
The quirky and unique that shone.
Repeat that laugh
It seems all too lost and far away
Light up another room, please
Bring back the grace and beauty that blessed our days
Never let go of the memory.
Hold onto the love.
Treasure the passing moments for all they are.
Remember Madison Kaye Moorhouse and the beautiful spirit she was and our brilliant star will shine forever.
