| - In My Daughter's EyesUpdatesI finally decided to update. I got a new job in January, I think I at least mentioned that. Nothing much is new. I've finally decided to take a vacation, back to Glendale with Ashlye so that she could meet her family again. Lately, there's not really much going on. We joined a fitness club, I played a lot of bball, etc. Watched a lot of TV, played a lot of WoW.... Also, I got this one song stuck in my head and I can't find a link so that I could play it here. If you could help me out with a link, I'd really appreciate it!
The Lyrics
In my daughter's eyes I am a hero I am strong and wise and I know no fear But the truth is plain to see She was sent to rescue me I see who I wanna be In my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes everyone is equal Darkness turns to light and the world is at peace This miracle God gave to me gives me strength when I am weak I find reason to believe In my daughter's eyes
And when she wraps her hand around my finger Oh it puts a smile in my heart Everything becomes a little clearer I realize what life is all about
It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough It's giving more when you feel like giving up I've seen the light It's in my daughter's eyes
In my daughter's eyes I can see the future A reflection of who I am and what will be Though she'll grow and someday leave Maybe raise a family When I'm gone I hope you see how happy she made me For I'll be there In my daughter's eyes

| So apparently, the ongoing question from half the people I meet is: "So... Ernest... when are you going to get married?" My answer?: "Probably much sooner than I'd think...." Well, it's true. I guess I am just happy that things are working out and I guess it'll happen sooner or later. Don't act suprised if I have no idea how it all happens. It'll probably hit me before I know it.
Anyways, nothing much other than that. I got a new job that originates in Taiwan. Life is ok except for something happening in a state north of me (That doesn't really say much since I live in Texas.) That part, however, is a little depressing to talk about.
Life goes on. C ya.

| I think I'm updating every other month or so, unless something exciting comes up. I got a new job that is based from Taiwan. At least I'm staying in Houston for the time being (and probably for the long run). Everything else is going as well as it possibly could....
I recently started a fitness club (again) with my entire family this time. It's something that we could all do together and my mom's feeling more energized from the exercise, which is a good thing because she's been tired 24/7 for the past year or two.
So some weird contest was on the radio this morning that just made me shake my head in disappointment. There was this contest on 104.1 which I almost never listen to anymore. As I was switching around stations, I heard them give a contest where they asked five questions, the first being: "Name one major river that flows through South America." Two contestants attempted that question; the first being a male who answered, "The Nile?" and the second, a female who answered, "The Rio Grande?" Why did I shake my head? It's not because these people have no clue about rivers in S. America, but the fact that the radio DJs approved the second answer as a possible "correct" answer. The sad part is that they believed it?!?!?
Other than that, playing a lot of WoW lately.... It's pretty cool though because I don't have school to worry about... at least for awhile. Anyways, more later (prolly another two months or so down the line)

| Best... College Football Game... EVER!??!? YES!! I've heard
enough about the OSU/ Miami game being just as good, but it's not even
a contest. AND it had NOTHING to do with the teams playing and
the results. You have two teams that are hyped to face each other
ALL YEAR, and there's no 4th and 12 phantom pass interference call to
extend the game. The game was a shootout, not a 10-10 game
heading to overtime. It wasn't really David & Goliath, as
some of the media would like to portray this one.
NO ONE gave the Texas defense ANY credit. I've said all along
that the UT defense should make the difference since USC has such a
terrible one. Have anyone seen those drives by UT? 2
minutes is nothing for them to score on that D.
And for all those people who said that USC should've punted?
That's one play that I would never question Carroll on. That was
necessary and 2 yards has been practically nothing all game (except for
that OTHER 4th down play early in the game....) Calls were
missed, holding penalties weren't called all game. Basically, the
officials LET THEM PLAY. I was literally having flashbacks of
Vince Young's comeback from last year when they were down 12.
That gut feeling of a comeback was there when I watched it
happen.
I might not be from UT, but it's hard not to pull for em.
