Meeting!!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOO......
Saturday was the day! It was sooo much fun! I woke up and dropped the BF to work then I went to work *babysitting! YAY!*. I got off WAAAAAAY earlier than expected and texted my BFF Britters to inform her that I was heading downtown and for her to just call me when she was close to the city. WELL!!! She calls and says she's waiting for her clothes to dry and then she says she'll just wear something else and she'll be on her way! So I got to Buckhead and ran inside Ross and Marshalls and proceeded down Piedmont to Monroe. Once I got on Monroe, I was stuck in traffic *because of a light I found out* and was like UGH!!!!

We called each other and planned to meet at her church HOWEVER, the downtown connector was completely backed up and there was NOWHERE to exit which put her back where I was when I went down Monroe so I had to take P'tree to Piedmont to get where she was! Well, we met at Kroger and went down to Ellis St to park. *We got pretty good parking* For a second I was scared a crackhead would break into my car, but I brushed it off and said, oh well, there isn't anything worth being stolen in there! LOL!
It was SOOOOOOOO hot and we were making our way to the Hard Rock and I just happend to look up at the Westin and noticed a LOT of the windows were still out from the tornado. I told Brittany and she was like, "Where?" I was like, "Right there". She's like "Where?" So I pointed and was like, "There, that building right there." She was like, "Okay, I don't see it and she's looking all around, I was like, "That tall building behind this building, kind of over to the right." The she goes "Oh! WOW!!!! That is a lot of missing windows! I thought you meant the building in front of us. I was going to say, 'No, it has all its windows!" Of course we laughed it off. Then I started to think to myself... OMG! We TOTALLY look like tourists! LOL!
So we walk into Hard Rock
and gave our name so we could wait to be seated. We went into the shop and there were sooooo many little people clothes. I was like, "Is this for kids or adults?!" She was like, "I feel like we're shopping for toddler clothes." I was like, "Yeah, I'll never wear clothes which carry the letter S in the size!" We saw some jewelry and this one bracelet looked like it should be for a freakin Tea Cup Yorkie! I was like WTF?! A GROWN person can wear that?! There were LOTS of cool buttons and some cute shirts, but I would have to purchase 3 shirts and stitch them together to make myself 1! LOL! After a little bit our buzzy thingy went off and we were seated! I needed to charge my phone and we were like UGH! If we could have sat over there, I could have been charging it. I was going to plug it up anyway, but I changed my mind b/c knowing me, I would have forgotten it! So we ordered our drinks (it's Hard Rock, you HAVE to get a Keeper drink!) and then we settled on our entree choices. (The Beef Brisket Sammie is AWESOME!!!!) I ordered another drink and it was YUCKIE!!!!!! UGH!!!! Never get the Berry Blush martini. It tastes like "Tussin" YUCK! I had the Rasberry Lemonade w/ Vodka and it was GREAT!!!!! We saw a band which looked to be rehersing in a room. I told her I remember seeing on the website there was supposed to be a live band playing. So she got a waiter to come to the table and we talked to him about the bands that were playing that night. He said if you're under 18 it's like $21, if your between 18 and 21 it's $11, and if you're 21+ it's $6! That kicks arse!!!! I was like if I didn't have to pick up my BF, I would DEFINITELY watch the show!
So we finished eating and talking and we decided to go for a little stroll to spend more girlie time together! So we start walking towards my old job. I was like "OH YEAH! There's a little mall right here." She goes "Really?!" I was like "Yeah, more food places but I used to work right here". So we go down the escalator to the Mall at Peachtree Center and proceeded through the stinky food court. And with a bird's eye view, she spotted some bags! So we went to this little shop with these bags and accessories. Salt was having a FIELD DAY!!! LOL! She looked like a kid in a toy AND candy store!! LOL! She was all over the place. Some of the bags were really cute, but the straps would be too short or the bag would be too small or the material would suck! So we left and went to another shop. Except this shop had like 200 bags and 180 of them were Betty Boop! LOL! Even one we didn't see, Britt goes "I BET that has Betty Boop on it!" I moved it so we could see the front and JUST like she said, there was Betty!!!! LOL!
So we left that shop and started walking. We both had to go to the potty and go in. It stinks like the worst load you could imagine is being dropped, but we had to go. Not even 3 seconds after we walk in, security walks in and tells us there's a MAN in there and it will be a few seconds before we can go in. So we stand outside the bathroom and I guess they tried to get him to come out. Then one of them opens the door and the other calls dispatch. 2 seconds later an Atlanta PO comes running along with another security guard. Brit goes, "OOOOH! This is going to be good, we have to see this!" So Atlanta's finest gets the man out and puts him in handcuffs. I guess the homeless man wasn't following instructions and tried to spit on the officer and the officer says, "If you try that sh*t one more time, I'm going to spray you with some hot shi*t." I wanted to laugh, but I didn't! *I thought it was pretty funny though!* So we go into the bathroom and OMG!!! It smells SOOOOOO bad! We were like, never mind, we'll wait!
As we're walking back, the 2 guards were standing at their post and they apologized once again for the incident and I told them I knew they kept the place running smooth from what I remembered when I used to work at Web.com. So we left and headed back to our cars. I had to pick up the BF and my phone was 1 button away from death! LOL! We planned to do it all over again, but this time, we're going to the NEW World of Coke!! Can't wait!!! LOL!
