thought: the mind is a terrible thing to waste, but put it to the wrong use and it will get wasted.. sooooo.... my thirst for knowledge can never be quenched! i'm seriously considering my friend's offer to accompany her in taking these classes to become a medical assistant (6 mos total), LVN (2 yrs total including first 6 mos to become a m.a.) - and this is where i would stop for i do not know if i really want to pursue what her ultimate goal is, R.N. (sorry i have no idea what the total time would be for this, i only paid attention up to where i was considering up to) -> lol selective hearing/attention span/memory.. so yeah, supposedly while taking these courses, you obtain an automatic internship at kaiser which (according to her) can also highly guarantee you a position at kaiser upon successful completion of the course at that specific school.. *rubs hands together* why LVN for me? well, like i know any of this stuff really, i'm just basing it off of what she's told me (yes i know i shouldn't be jumping into something but i'll deal with that later).. but a med assist can do as much as taking one's vitals, where an LVN can work at an injection clinic (yes i know a med assist can do injections too).. if my friend never had severe migraine attacks, i would not have had the opportunity to learn the fun (and how near to passing out i could get at the site of blood and sounds of her almost screaming in agonizing pain .. @.@) of sticking a needle and injecting medication into someone's arse.. hmmm.. perhaps i should rethink this? lol - i think it's just her horror stories.. but on the flip side, i'm intrigued to do this because of her other stories and some of my first hand accounts at the kaiser injection clinic in ssf.. i understand they gotta do their job according to policies and what not, but i can't believe how some of them medical ppl act towards the patients.. wow.. i mean much respect to what they have to deal with day to day, but dam.. be the nice lady who pokes ppl all day. ^.^ thought 2: halloween is for all kids, big and small.. one of these days i will encounter a group of ppl who will all want to dress up so i don't feel so out of place for halloween.. and i will try my utter best to actually dress up.. hahaha.. i ono.. i have no idea what tho.. o.O would love to make my own again.. Chuder is the closest to this tho.. every year he's always dressed up like something.. oooh! maybe we should all go as bomberman characters.. yessss! we had that planned for like.. a year or two now but we never had the time.. hmm.. dammit.. O.o the possibilities.. lol plus side this year, all hallow's eve falls on a friday, meaning we can get sugared up ALL NITE LONG (and by sugared up, i mean liquored up for all the big kids of proper age).. it is also the night that girls can excusably dress in "skankier" clothing lingerie and call it a costume.. hahaha.. i so back that! i am the owner of 2 corsets that have made their debut on halloweenie.. need to think of something different or more creative to do w/ what i have.. o.O will she make it? will she be successful? dun dun DUUUN! *cue suspense music* |
