graduation

OK, my latest blog entry wasn't the most encouraging, so I decided to take it down.

I had a grad party today, the pictures will come soon. I actually had a speech which lasted for about 2 minutes or less. I really enjoyed it though. Afterwards I had some really amazing ice-cream with my classmates. Fun ;)

the church bells that lie

There is a big church in the center of Krakow which is called the Saint Mary's church. It's the biggest one in town and it's considered a masterpiece of the gothic art. However, the bells on the Saint Mary's church tower lie. They ring eight times at 7.00 a.m. and seven times at 8.00 a.m. A few people have checked and it's true. I never pay attention to such stuff, but I guess people who live there may notice such things.

I have a friend who rents an attic in one of the old houses in the city center. It's right next to that Saint Mary's church and he uses the bells as an alarm clock. The other morning he woke up and counted... and when he reached the number eight, he jumped out of bed. He got really confused about the actual time.

The church bells told him it's eight, but in fact it's only seven.

There are so many bells in my life that tell me different things. That purity, honesty and faithfulness are old fashioned. Or that money is the most important thing in the world... In fact it's still seven o'clock.

I wonder if they ever fix it. The other bells won't be fixed so easily though.

REACTIVATED BLOG

Ok, Ok... It's been a long time.

I changed my job in the meantime. And yesterday I graduated from college. I got an A+. It was the final exam, the grad party is in two weeks.

I'm happy. It was a busy year, but very fruitful.

It's like looking back and saying "good job".

someone special

I would like to let you know that someone special showed up in my life. I look at him and I still can't believe that he is real and that he is mine. What a blessing!

I still get nervous when I'm with him one on one. Getting to know him, learning to be comfortable and accepting him just as he is.

He's Italian, pretty small, cute. People say we fit together.

EVERYONE CURIOUS? Yes. This is my new, little, sweet... Fiat Cinquecento!!! Yep... Magda got her driver's license last month. And my uncle gave me a car. Anybody for a road trip?
