| It's that time...I guess it's about that time I share with everyone my update. The past few months have definitely been pretty hectic with work, birthday parties, traveling and such.
But more importantly, it marks a major change in my life that will be happening soon. For various reasons that I cannot fully explain here (you can email me if you want), I have decided to take the step to move back home to Taipei, Taiwan.
This is definitely one of the hardest decisions I have had to make thus far in my life, and it took a lot of thought, courage, trust, and faith for me to make this move. I am saddened to be leaving the place I have come to know and the great friends I have made along the way in the past 6 yrs... but I am also excited about the future, most specifically being able to be close to home and my family, and also anxious about the challenges that will come my way once I set foot in Taiwan. I've never really "lived" in Taiwan since I grew up in Malaysia, but home is home, after all. I will just have to learn and adapt. Soooo, having that said, please pray for me for this big transition. And if you're ever in Asia, stop by Taiwan and say "hello"! I'll take you out to some delicious Taiwanese food and show ya the infamous night market life!  PS Last day set for 9/27. If you have time, come hang with me in Richmond!!! Will love to see you before I leave.  |
