Okay, so in health class we were watching a video about birth... [insert blank stare]
...and
when they showed it the first time the baby just came right out. But
apparently that was just to make you think you were in for an alright
video. At the end they're showing her screaming her head off and going
crazy then kick over to the 'vag cam' and you see that her fluids are
all over and the the head starts to come out. But this isn't just a 5
second thing- she pushed for like 3 minutes and as the rest of the head
is coming out there is the amniotic fluid flowing like a river outta
that joint and I'm seriously not even watching the video at this point.
I feel myself starting to get really upset by it so I ask if I can go
to the bathroom. I get up and walk out the door and I started to feel a
lot better with it being so cold and as I get to the door to go
inside... my ears ring and I can no longer hear anything.
I walk
inside and the bathroom is already far away and everything is getting
narrow and I see black and white flashes all over and I'm tripping over
myself and trying to grab at the wall so I don't fall over. My vision
is limited with nothing but blackness in my peripheral vision. I turn
into the bathroom and stare into the mirror. I wet my hands and run
them across my face. My head is still pounding and my ears turn red and
hot. As I start to sit down, [Yeah, okay... so I sat down in the
bathroom. Relax, it was clean and on my feet and knees, anyways,] and
so as I bring my head back up to a vertical position it all goes black
and I no longer have feeling or senses. Then, I regain most of my
consciousness and I find myself in the bathroom and I panic but sit up
slowly. I pull out my cell phone and see that it was only for a minute
or so. I get a drink of water and walk back to class. I take off my
jacket so I can get really cold and wake up. I put it back on and zip
it up as I open the trailer door and find my self feeling a lot better
after the immediate temperature change.
Words of wisdom:
Don't invite me to witness live birth.
