| Japan Host bar!! If you watch a lot of japanese dramas you would always notice that at least 1 out of 12 episodes there is also a scene where a man or a woman works or goes to a host bar. So what is a host bar?! A host bar is a place where people go and talk to a japanese man or woman and pretty much get entertained by them. No you don't have to strip or have sex basically you just sit in the bar drink and socialize with the clients. The thing about host bars and hosts/hostesses is that they get paid a lot !! Like a lot to be able to wine/dine with the guests like this japanese host made up to $200,000 a year!! This also includes free acohol, fast money, and of course if a client really likes you then you get a lot of stuff on the side free vacations, watches, clothes. The downsides is is that the ones that spend big $$$ are usually really old. But I've thought about doing this for one night though being a hostess though just to see what it's like for a typical. Even though, I've heard horror stories I feel find it very intriguing. I told my boyfriend about this and omg he was all over it he was like oooo i wanna do that!! But here's a pic. of what it looks like
The infamous host club where gaijins (foreigners) and elderly flock too. Can you be a hostess/host?! | | |
| California Trip!!Hey I just got back from California to celebrate my dad's bday and it was a blast!! It was great a time, I also got to see my sister too. One of the things that I miss from California is the beautiful weather ! The weather is soo beautiful down in California, besides Vegas is too hot! So I was pretty sad with the dramatic change in weather. Other than that, I was pretty suprised on how LA had all these mom and pop shops. You would think that LA would be full of franchises and chainy restuarants, but it's not there's so many restuarants with their own flava and authenticity it's not even funny. I'm also pretty impressed that Pinks a hot dog stand has been around for 69 years and it's still pack till' this day! I also chilled at Zuma Beach in Malibu which is a beach where you can actually see the water ! (Yes, I've been to some dirty beaches yes the ones that are even dirtier than the south). Our final activity was going to the Reagan Library which was really neat. My fave part was the Berlin wall and going inside the presidential airplane. But what I didn't know was that there were more libraries and museums of the presidents. There's the Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and others too. I definatly want to go to the FDR, JFK, and Bill Clinton library. I also want to go to the the Nixon library hahha esp. with the watergate scandal! But yeah, I'm pretty surprised that Vegas is waay more chainy compared to LA because the land and overheads r waay cheaper than LA so you would think there would be more franchises in LA than in Vegas. But then again Vegas is more of a touristy place too with a lot of sushi joints! Well, anyways I'm out so peace! Oh one more thing= Vegas has a lot of check cash place and easy quick loans too! | | |
| Online dating and maturityHey sup yall' well anyways back in the day I use this site called shared talk (shared talk is a site where you can look for language partners like for ex. you want to learn french and u're a native english speaker well you look for a language partner that is native in french and in return if they want to know english you can help them out with that too) to talk to others and help them with their english well I use to talk to males esp. for dating purposes, but now I'm finding myself avoiding males and only wanting to talk to girls to improve my japanese and help them with their english. At first I found this to be a turn on but now I just grew out of it... in other words I find myself growing out of things and looking back and realizing that I want to change this and do something different. Keep in mind in person I'm very bubbly and charismatic and hella funny! But I've noticed how much I changed esp. in 1 year hahha I know I think I'm repeating myself in the previous blog. Keep in mind I love the person that I am but one does go through phases. Like here's the infamous college phase I went through Phase #1 The college phase if you're not in the top 25 college then you're dumb! (Keep in mind I was raised that going to the best college is everything) with the good ole question of What college do you go to?! Then the second What is your major?! with the 3rd What do you want to do after you graduate?! Yeah, in my family it was either you know what you want to do or we'll pick it for you! So I was pretty ambitious like that, but I would judge men and others on what college they go to, major, and what they intended to do after graduation. I was awed and fantized about being a man that went to Harvard and that was cute and that can stimulate my mind in many ways! outcome I realized that sure if you get into the top 25 college obviously u're smart and pretty lucky! I'm not saying that getting into the top schools is worthless because you'll meet amazing people and have the top of the notch education! With amazing connections to boot, but I also realize that one can succeed w/o going to the top of the notch school! As long as you have perseverance, hardwork, and ambition things can happen! But it depends on you I'm not saying that if I got into Harvard I would turn it down but I'm starting to realize that with the school I go to I can make things happen and just because a guy doesn't go to harvard, UVa, or other great schools doesn't mean he's a loser. So there but do I regret being the way I was hell no!!! But I just grew out of the there's no hope for success neither for that person if they don't go into the top school ranked by Newsweek. hahah but I have to admit though it does suck being compared to a sister that goes to USC on a debate team full ride scholarship though!! jeeze talk about feeling bad But overall I'm not a judgemental prick about what school you go to because things happen! Nor am'I with graduation and stuff because life changes and people change. So yes, I've become more open minded!! Well, that's all and I will keep yah posted peace! | | |
| My bf that is moving to Vegas..well attemptingSo after a long talk I've been convincing my boyfriend to move to Vegas so we can have a normal real relationship and at first I thought he was going to be like "Hell nah". Since he hates Vegas, but he called me and told me that he was looking for jobs in Vegas esp. after he graduates. I'm so proud of him and happy that he's going to try and make a move to Vegas after he graduates! I'll be very excited for the day we actually live in the same city yay!! Besides this long distance thing is tough but we're making it through and I feel spoiled and I'm definatly keeping him. Well, the down side is is that he couldnt find a job in Vegas but I told him that one year does make a difference so just focus on graduating from ASU! Other than that, he's a keeper and I'm kinda happy that his exes dumped him because he's mine and I'm taking over mwauhh hahhaha well peace
