So I "flew" down today for the next to last day of camp.  I spent most of it in the main office making sure my kids were behaving.  For the most part they were.  It was hot, HOT.  I guess I'm going a little soft with my desk job, as fun as it may be.  Anyway, I wish I'd gotten to spend some more time there, but what I did see I thought was great.  I didn't stay for the whole service, I just got to see IMPACT, and they were awesome.  I was really touched by the song towards the end when the chorus states "There's no God like Jehovah"  Made me really think that I had to step up a bit, not get so caught up in what goes right, or what goes wrong and just let God work through me as much as I let him.  Probably a good lesson for everyone really.  On Wednesday we had 6 and I talked about the Word, but after coming back together I realized, as Pastor Jerry spoke, that I'd taken the whole thing out of context and focused too much on the passages and not enough on the rest of the story.  Story was about Jacob, and I failed to relay exactly what type of man he was and what type of tyrant he was.  I glossed that over WAY too much and turned him into a nice guy.  I guess that's where my earlier statement comes from and not worringy about what goes right or wrong and just letting his message come through without trying so hard.  Ah well.  It's always hard to let the human go to allow in the super-human.
