Wednesday Have had some mail at long last trouble is not seeing anyone for a whole so can't get anything sent or anything bought Gillian not able to drive yet and her daughter was going to bring her today but is unable meanwhile any reliable caller will be asked to post my letters as I always keep stamps I sent Paula a thank you card it has been returned Why she cannot accept a card when she sends me a card and present I just cannot understand her mentality lately seems she maybe has mental problem I still do not know what she did with matt's ashes and a note from Angela asking was ignored  I think this is weirdF1010039activity just because I speak to the rest of my children. Where is the love the present and card made out beats me. Not much news just a boring week can't get my camera to down load photos expect I have to add something must remember to ask Angela when I next call her. so only old pictures capable of being shown. so heres pot luck

, I never learn so picture which I didn't know what I would get is of the swallow Falls in Wales somewhere, think it was near that place with a funny name Bettwyss-co-ed from memory of 1973 so a short poem as well

The Bluebell Wood

Bluebells so many I picked as a child

Hundreds of them growing in the  field.

I really loved their colour so blue,

Will always remember them growing so wild.

Now I know that it was wrong to take this host.

But nobody informed me not to do so.

So many jam jars were placed round my house

I hope now they will never, be lost, like a ghost.

The end.

Apparently when Blue bells are picked it takes years for them to regenerate so many of the fields of bluebells have been lost forever.Have any English people seen any recently cheers for now Love marj

Don't give up hope on your friends. They are not always easy to understand.

I have quit wondering what my girls think or why they act out. Best to remember that once they were in your arms and being loved. If they do not remember, that is their loss.

I thought of the song, "The Bluebells of Scotland" when I read your poem. It is lovely, Marj, just like you!!

Love always,

Bev

Kids are funny aren't they? You never know what is going on in their mind.

Lovely picture and poem. As always. Thanks for sharing with us.

Sorry I haven't been by sooner. Have had some sort of virus; Stomach virus the doctor said. I won't take anything to relieve the nausea as they make me sleepy and I can't be sleeping at work. Makes a very bad impression.

Oh, I never knew that about bluebells.  That's awfully sad.

Have you ever thought of having a companion to stay with you?  You always seem happier when someone is there.  And they could get things for you, too, which would be helpful.  Do they have home health aides there?

The Swallow Falls , in Betws-y-Coed are beautiful and only about an hours drive from here. We had many happy times walking there. Sorry Paula is still being awkward with you but I guess the card and present were a small step in the right direction. Native bluebells are scarce, now there are plenty of Spanish ones which are bigger but not as pretty. I have Spanish ones in my garden, not planted by me but brought in by birds probably. Take care of yourself. Marie

Thinking of You...
So sorry about the lost bluebells. I remember picking daisies, making daisy chains and finding buttercups. I don't remember bluebells. Now in America when living in the east I remember picking tons of fragrant lily of the valley and sweet smelling violets. Here in Southern California I remember picking wild flowers mostly Golden California poppy and lupins. Well I don't pick the wild flowers because it's not legal to do so. They were in full bloom all along the hills.

Take care,
Karolyn
