I want to succeed in life.

No, seriously.  Right now, that is my desire, my passion, my goal to strive for.
Honestly, I could care less if I don't get to hang out with my friends or if I lose touch with my friends or if no girls like me.

HS leads to undergrad leads to grad leads to career leads to quality of lifestyle & happiness (affluence, wife, family, etc.)

Right now, I am so focused...

Focused to win.

...at life.

And that's all that matters.

Friday - Freehold District Champs

I ran shitt-ily like I have been for all of the races so far this season.  It's not because of the fact that I'm lazy and haven't been training - - I've been training my ass off, and in practice am with all of the other varsity runners.  I just can't seem to just freakin' do it in races.  And my coach isn't helping either - - he said if I don't start getting "in it", he's going to take me out of it.  In other words, my Varsity letter is on the line.  Gay.

Saturday - Bobby & Grace's Wedding

Sorry for the last entry, I meant I was a groomsman, and not the best man for my half-brother Bob.    But anyway!  It was a beautiful wedding in the newly-renovated Brooklyn Museum of Art!    Grace looked amazing and I think they're a perfect match for each other.    Congrats you two, and I hope you guys share a life together filled with happiness and joy!

If I figure out how to get pictures from my camera to online, then I'll post some pics of the wedding - - including pics of myself looking quite sharp I must say in a tux.

Edit - - >  PICTURESs!!  (<- click)

On a side note, yesterday's wedding truly made me realize the importance of love.  No, not all the teenage dating/drama or all the "I like you - - you like me" bullshit.  No, love truly is a wonderful thing - -  and it should truly be treasured when found.  High school relationships don't mean a damn thing and are really stupid.

Oh and BTW - Listen to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow/What a Wonderful World" by Israel "IZ" Kamakawiwo'ole.  Extremely beautiful version of a beautiful song that I heard yesterday at the wedding.

I just got back from Delaware.

The course was:

  • muddy (about 20 people fell and got themselves covered in mud)
  • rocky (a couple runners had their legs covered in blood because they tripped on the rocks)
  • and a b*tch to run (think of the 2nd & 3rd miles as running two Bowl-sized hills back to back, then having a long gradual uphill for .5 miles, then having a 200 m steep uphill right before the finish)

(The course was about 40 seconds slower than Holmdel.)

Yeah.  It was fun.

But...
I lost my wallet like 15 minutes before we left the meet.
In total, I lost about $20, my Six Flags Season Pass, and my Brookdale ID.

Whatever, all in all it was a good trip.
