I'm in a mood to laugh. which is good, because if i looked at this picture seriously, i'd...be scared of myself.

this pic was from the beach, taken by my brothers gf emily (which is why i didn't have it until now.) i laughed so hard i was crying when i saw this. please, enjoy.

aaaaaaahahahahahahahahahahahaha. i was SO serious until RIGHT before she took the picture. haha, now i just have a really really funny look on my face (as does chris...). ahahahahahaahhaha

...am i just jinxed? Is it that calouse on the liver? (hahahaha "oouch my liver") because...what could be the worse possible thing to happen at Purple Door this year? Because. it. happened....

AGAIN.

yes, again, my friends, blindside, the lovely, beautiful blindside, was indeed rained out. AGAIN. second year in a row.... Pillar (who although i'm not a big fan of, were actually reaaaaaaally good for what we saw...) was right before blindside, and into their second (yes, merely there second) song the entire sky emptied on us, and the power went out. but we waited....and waited.....and huddled from the cold, and waited.....and talked to cow-man, and waited....for about an hour? two hours? probably about two or so. cold, cold rain. the power never came back on so to all those that were left (who were like ducks. they were eating pizza on stage so we were like "pizza! pizza!" and then proceeded to throw us some pizza. i didn't get any.) they said, "pillar loves you, blindside loves you and....blindside wants to meet you, so they'll be in that tent over there..." yeah, so we ran.  I borrowed a dry dollar from justin, the only dry thing i could find, and got them to sign it.  

christian--lead singer-- did the nice little ..alien...thing. haha, he passed it to marcus and was like "wait, did i even sign it?? give that back!" 

it's just not natural to have missed them 4 times now, twice because of rain, and at the same event. not cool.

but anyway, despite the massive amounts of mud (it rained the next morning too) and coldness ... it was still so much fun. Haste the Day was great, squad 5-0 was the absolute best (again) because that lead singer knows like no other how to get the crowd going. we had actually stayed fairly clean, only ankle deep in mud until then...but couldn't resist. mmmm. we saw the end of supertones, who were awesome from what we saw....relient k is SO weird, and some of their fans were really annoying, but they're good, i have to admit it, i liked 'em. further seems forever...meh. umm anberlin was decent, oh, and dension whitmer! i'm buying his CD. yummy. who else? there were plenty of bands, but this year wasn't as good of a lineup as last.

so yes. mud, rain, cold....sums it up well. haha, but really, it was great, and it seemed, at least to me, it was a little more ....spiritual this year....is that the word i'mlooking for? i don't know, but i was actually pretty impacted in a good way, the speakers were awesome. rather humerous, and yet so very....good.  yeah. anyway.

haha, oh yeah, we washed off in a giant muddy puddle..it was like the bathing part, everyone went there to get at least some of the coats of mud off. hahah. *random*

my camera died in the rain, but i'm going to get it developed anyway...i'll be sure to put those few pictures of PD up here when i get 'em. hopefully they turn out good, seeing as in i only have a few.

there's probably so much more i want to say but am forgetting...because i'm kinda sleepy...and out of it...but um....yeah.

I do believe it's time to update.

This time last week i was at the beach...and i have over 500 pictures to prove it.  Um..don't worry, not all 500 are going up here.

First of all, although it got fuzzy, i like this one. It's my brother and his girlfriend, a.k.a. chris and emily, when we went out to look at the full moon over the water. i just upped the contrast so you could make everything out.

I don't care what Chris said, it was freezing in there. And look! the ugly-butts-painting! Now you all get to see what we ...saw for a week.

One morning we got up at 5:45 or something ungodly like that, and saw the beautiful sunrise. The next few pictures are a little before it actually was up....

Alright, i had a predicament. i have over 120 pictures just from this particular morning, and many of them could easily stand on there own...i like a lot of these. but...i'm lazy and don't have time to deal with all of them individually....here's a collage.

One day while me, lavonda, and my mother were toasting in the sun (actually i was under my hoodie and towel....it was chilly if you ask me) chris, emily,and my dad rode bikes up to bethany beach, where it was considerably less...congested, as you can see from the sand behind them, instead of oodles of people.

Nothing like being random...this is a picture from that morning that we all got up early. This is the closest you will ever see me with my glasses on. except...some of you. lol

hehe, this one makes me laugh. This day it was HOT....so chris temporarily tried to imitate emily's hat with his towel to shield his eyes from the sun, i suppose. or he was lazy and didn't feel like carying it.

last picture that i have the patience to put up here.... i got beaten up by waves for taking these pictures (it gave me less time to dive under and what not...talk about sand/salt/andprobablycrabs up the nose...) , so it was nice that some of these turned out pretty cool. i just wished this would have gotten clearer.... 800 speed my foot.

thus concludes my trip in a few of the hundreds of pictures. (actually, i believe the count amounts to just over 600?) mmm i love the beach....

Sunday my mom had a small picnic ...thing for some family members, and then i went to kristins house with alicia and lavonda....and i have pictures :D

First of all, the picnic..thing.

Unfortunetely, i can't take credit for this picture; my brothers girlfriend took it, but i love it! The one flying through the air is my brother Chris, and he's about to land on my cousin, Ben. But have no fear, no Ben's or pink rafts were harmed in the making of this picture.

This is Ben's twin, Khorie. I love it when they come over, they're great.

For some reason, i like this picture. It's happy. That's my mom (wearing my shirt) and my dad pouring the coffee, and my cousin Tonya's husband. he's a nice guy :)

I wish this were a little more in focus, darn camera only zooms so much. That's Brooke, Tonya and that guy above's kid, sooo adorable. And that's my unclel; her grandfathers legs.

Alright, when i went to go downstairs to get my stuff to leave, kristin had a photoshoot with herself. i realized that because of that, i have a lot of pictures of kristin. (lavonda left at this time, so there's only some of her from the night before) and so this is my mostly kristin and some alicia collage.
