Celebrate Adoption

Gabriel Michael Wallace is officially adopted!

Yesterday at 9:12am. It's been a wonderful few days.

We are having a party here in a few minutes.

Hope everyone is doing well and having a great break from school. I sure am. We're in Missouri now but will head home tomorrow. Then I work all day Satuday and Sunday and then it will be Christmas!

Have a blessed holiday and a very merry new year!

Dear xanga,

I miss thee.

Love,

Savvy.

I need sleep. Desperately.

Working on 2 days, with only 3 hours.

Rock ON!

...written earlier in the day...

It's a rainy day at WSCC.

We won our flag football game! By a forfeit, but hey!

I got Wendys for lunch...yay!

And I should get back to work.

Savvy Lives

So it's been awhile...huh?

Life...pretty much crazy right now. But in a good way.

I think.

Between school, workstudy, real work, BCM stuff, newspaper stuff, Ambassador stuff, PTK stuff, and church I have no time. Or sleep. But  being at school rocks! I have so many amazing friends. I can just be walking around campus or to class and I will always run into someone and get a random hug or high five! There is always someone to go eat with, or to share their food with me , or steal a drink of their coke

Things have been slightly stressful at home...but I think that's partly because I'm never here.

Actually everything has been stressful. I even locked my keys in my car twice in the past week! It's not to bad though because I'm still managing to handle it all...and still keep my grades up. I just feel bad sometimes because it seems I dont have time for somethings that I really wish I had time for.

Some highlights of this week:

a ring , cookies, finally getting the BCM shirts (which are awesome btw), new cds, unmasking the cults, 2 late nights at Dairy Queen which of course included interesting convos, a very good bio grade, 2 trips to zaxbys, a bruise from lindsey , a bracelet accompied by sweet words, and trip to Bham art museum and then the mall. And now it's time for the weekend! Which includes working Fri, Sat and Sun...and a lock in Fri night! woo!

Ok I'm tired. And really don't have anything insightful or thought provoking. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive

I was just thinking...and taking a stroll down memory lane. Sigh.

I also realized my year does not revolve around the months, but the school year. It feels like a new year is about to start for me, and really it is. A new school year.

Wow.

My life has changed so much since this time last year. I have grown in so many ways. I don't know if others can see it, I hope they can, but I can certainly tell. I have made mistakes and learned some valuable lessons I shall never forget. I have made a totally new group of friends that are amazing and constintly encourage me and teach me things. I have developed close friendships with a select few that are the closest I have ever been or let anyone get to me.

This past school year had its rough times but also the wonderful times. There were tears, laughs, hugs, dramas, prayers, and questions. When I look back I think of what a huge impact my freshman year had on my life.

And now I am excited about what sophomore year will hold. New faces and hopefully new friendships. Growing even closer to the friends I have now. Staying super busy with my many clubs and extracurriculars, homework (maybe  ) and two jobs. Then there will be the wonderful commute I now make four days a week. And I will daily be seeking God to help me and show me the next step of my life (which isn't even mine). Big decisions are going to be made this next year. To make it even more fun...I am currently clueless! I feel like I'm sitting in the passenger seat of a car going 100 mph. But I know who the Driver is, so I have no need to fear.

I know this school year is going to fly by at an unbelievable rate. I really don't want to think about it, because I know once this year is over...things are going to change. I am finally at a point where I am content, comfortable, and feel like I'm where I'm suppose to be. And I don't what to leave that. But that's life, eh.

Hang on...I feel an adventure on it's way!!
