| Saturday
was our youth christmas party it went really good. We even got gifts
from the group. They gave Casey a sword. It goes along with
the whole "Special Forces Student Ministries" theme. We had a
scavenger hunt that was really fun. And we had 3 visitors that night
too. We did gag gifts and I bought a bicycle tire for my gag
gift. I ended up getting a whoopie cushion that Laynie bought.
Tonight
we had a really good service. It was a little different. We
sat around and told what we were passionate about in our life.
Everybody had something good to say. Olivia Buchannan said alot
of good stuff tonight about what she had a passion for. The
people that said the most were the people that usually said nothing at
all. We did not do worship tonight. But it actually felt
really good to worship without having to play and sing. It is
good to take a break every once in a while. It has been a while
since I have actually had a chance to sit and worship God at
church. Because I ALWAYS play the keyboard. So it felt good
to raise my hands and just vent a little, and not have to worry about
the way we sound. And I can just sit on the floor and listen and
talk to God. God is fixing to do something big in the Youth
group. It is getting to be where the people that want to be close
to God will be the MAJORITY and the ones that don't really care to get
close to God are the MINORITY. For so long it has been the other
way around. There were a lot of people that stayed tonight after
church to just listen to a CD and worship. That is what worship
really is. It's not all about playing and singing on a worship
team and sounding perfect . It is just about sitting there in
God's presence and soaking it all in. A lot of times I find
myself constantly talking to God, when there are times that you just
need to shut up and listen, no singing, no praying, just listen to him
speek to you.

| Hey
Dustin, just wandering why in the world you were scared of my
mom. That is pretty retarded. She is a little intimidating
at first because she doesn't talk very much. But that is because
she is very shy.
Tonight in youth was really great. Me and Casey had to go to
Baton Rouge late last night and got back around 4:00 today. So
Timothy did worship. It was really great. It feels really
good to be out in the congregation to worship. I never really get
a chance to be free to worship like that. Because I play the
keyboard in big church on Sundays for both services. And I also
do worship and I'm behind the keyboard in youth. But it was very
good. I saw a lot of tonight worship that I usually don't see
worship.
Tonight Erica Tyson talked to me about some problems she was facing
with her children. It made me feel special for her to trust me
enough to tell me some of her personal problems. I will continue
to pray for her to get her kids.

| We had a great serice this morning and tonight. Worship was
really good this morning. I was really proud of a couple of my
youth girls tonight for going to people and praying for them.
That just shows me that they are really growing in God and are growing
a greater compassion to others needs.
I have to take my mom tomorrow morning to her MS doctor. She is
not doing very good . The doctor told her that if she doesn't get
any better She will be in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.
She is only 42 years old. But I also know that God still
heals. I have witnessed healings myself and I very much believe
that he can and he will heal her. She has had a really rough life
and marriage. I believe she is bitter toward God because of all
the things she has been through. And her being bitter toward God
leaves a big gap in-between her and God having a
relationship. I believe she is saved, but I think she could be a
lot closer to God than she is now. And I don't believe that God
is going to heal her until she desires and hungers for God more.
When she breaks down and surrenders everything to him, that is when she
will be healed.
Please help me pray for my mom.
