| Well, it's been awhile since I've done this xanga thing...school is good...I've added some hours to my regular schedule, I sure hope it doesn't kill me. If it does, it'll just take forever to get through school...Elsie's baby is due in March, I hope she has the lil baby when I'm at Chad's over spring break! My sister's engaged! The wedding is July 19th...growing up is such a strange process....Went to the dr today-my ears don't need anymore surgery right now and the airway issue I was having is begining to stabilize...life is going okay right now... | | |
| well, my appt monday went fine-the trach change was one of the best ever...it didnt hurt anymore bc it wasnt rubbing the spot anymore...i thought everything was so good that i called the medical supply company and told them it'd be my regular trach...when i laid down to go to bed my airway collapsed like the dr thought it would...so i tried diff things, nothing worked...so we went back to the dr @ 8 on Wednesday and changed back to my regular long trach...he gave me both oral and inhaled steroids trying to help reduce any swelling to promote the healing of the rubbing spot...and school...tuesday i didnt make it to my first class bc it was such a hard morning bc of the no sleep thing, but i did make it to my second class; however, my breathing was so off bc i couldnt use the vent for the nightt time, i dont remember a thing from that class...lower oxygen and retaining co2 can really do a number to your brain and thinking abilities! | | |

| I'm back! It was a blast and more!! I'm refreshed and ready to deal with the real world issues I escaped from...I love going to Chads place, lots of animals, love, and nothing to do (thats the best part!)... I go to the dr tomorrow for my trachy, I hope everything goes okay-otherwise I'll be locked up for awhile...We'll see, I'll let you know! | | |
| bout time for a new update for anyone left behind by Tom? lets see school's going alright...my stupid airway and trach are causing lots of problems for me...i leave for my weekend mini vacation with bethee in 19 days! i caught esthers cold, yuck! and....the lift on the van is being replaced as we speak!! i know theres some ppl ou there that had personal conflicts with the old lift haha-lets just say it was old and needed work! well, thats about it right now...pray for endurance, health, and safe travels (where we're going, it's a bit of a drive!) | | |
