Daniela Isabel was born 2/25/08 at 4:22am after only 20 minutes of pushing and labor. The doctor said I had bragging rights ^_^. *brags* She weighed 7lb, 5oz and measured 20 inches.

We are completely enamored with our beautiful daughter, and are happily taking on the roll as parents. Here are some pictures from when she was. More pictures to come as she grows!

It's really been a while....

Wow...I almost forgot I had this, it's truly been a while.

Well, I got married and I'm 8 months pregnant as we speak. We received a little wedding gift we weren't expecting but are definitely excited about. Right now I'm on bed rest, since the baby wanted to come out for New Years...I had to spend New Years Eve and Day in the Hospital because I was having pre-term contractions. Haven't had any contractions since, but the doctors want to make sure the baby doesn't come before the 34th week, which I start tomorrow...so hopefully by Monday I can go back to work! (Trust me, bed rest is SO boring!)

Husband's good, work is good. I got promoted to Front Office Trainer, which I'm loving, and hopefully will continue to grow in that direction. What else? Not much else, I suppose...All is still good in Frenchi Land ^_^.

Don't know if people still read this or not, but I still love you all and miss talking to you. Hugz, wuvles and kisses!

I'm Married!

I finally got married, after 8 months of preparation and planning, and I had blast! Things went wrong, as expected, but all in all, it turned out PERFECT! I laughed, danced, ate, etc, the whole night, and I looked like a Princess ^_^.

I'm especially happy 'cause I got almost my whole entire family to go, all my closest friends from New York & Puerto Rico together with all of Ramon's family and close friends.

Nana was my Maid of Honor, Alex was one of my Braids Maids and seeing as I would have never gotten Cali in a pink dress...she was the official photographer ^_^. Hope you girls had as much fun as I did!

Anyways, many thanks to all the people who congratulated us and went out of their way to be a part of such a special day in my life ( & Ramon's). Love you all, hugs and wuvles!

So, I'm off to get married! Tomorrow I take a flight to Puerto Rico and begin the process of getting married...by this time Saturday, I'll be a married woman! I'll be sure to post some pictures ^_^.

...it's been ages since I've updated! I almost forgot I even had a xanga,that's how little time I've had for the internet. Anyways, here's a little update.

I'm still getting married, of course, and the wedding is about a month & 1/2 away...just around the corner!!! But I'm still not freaking out, I"m leaving that for the day BEFORE the wedding ^_^.

Ramon's doing good, he's gotten used to his new position as the Lobby Manager of the Hotel and taking the heat that comes from being a department head. We are still working on having him gain a few pounds for the wedding >.>

Work is well. I'm still waiting to be promoted. It'll suffice to say "stupid office politics". I already know the job and do the job, I just have to wait for the position to be open so I can get the title...even though I'm already doing the work. >.<

Oh! Regarding the wedding....we have hired a wedding planner. Pfff!! I don't' like wedding planners, let me tell you. But she's Ramon's friend and she's nice enough, I suppose. But I'm still skeptical! Wedding planners can't be trusted, it's just the way it is, it's in their nature to be devious and sneaky. And I don't trust her....because she insists that the wedding colors are silver, pink AND black, when it's only silver AND pink, no black! You hear me?! No black! *Hyperventilate*

*calms down* Anyways, other than that, work and the wedding have consumed my life lately, and most days I don't know what date it is. Hope all of you are doing well, and are embarking in exciting, new adventures as well ^_^.

I have an apartment!

Wow...I know it's been a while since I've updated...but I've truly been BUSY.

First of all, I had to move out of my old apartment (the owner sold the apartment and gave us a month to move out). I had to move in with my fiance and I've been living with him and his two roommates, in his tiny room, for the last month and a half. Well...no more!

We JUST signed a lease for a HUGE one bedroom apartment in Woodlawn, NYC. It's awesome!! The place is so large and spacious...I honestly don't know how we are going to furnish it. Seeing as we only plan to stay for another year and a half, I don't want to go all out in furnishing the place...but it's tempting! I want to buy all sorts of things, and decorate and and and make it all pretty and pink!! Well, maybe not pink, I don't think my fiance will like that too much >.>

Oh! I forgot to say...I'm no longer going to California. We went to Palm Springs, it's truly beautiful over there, but it wasn't the best move for our careers. Besides, no one really wanted us to go over there, and as soon as we decided to stay, Ramon got promoted to Lobby Manager. I'm also at the verge of being promoted to Supervisor, but I have to wait my turn (hopefully within the next few months).

So, yes...life's been hectic between one thing and the next (including other issues I can't discuss on here >.<). But I'm very, VERY excited to be having my own place, specially after a month and a half of living in a shoe box. Also, it's going to be our first home together, and we're both very ecstatic (we even open a joint account!) ^_^.

Well, I think that's good enough for now...I love and miss you all, and I hope to be getting lots of visitors...especially since I have my own place now! ^_^

It's official!

I'm officially engaged!! *jumps up and down* And I have a ring to show for it!!

My boyfriend proposed yesterday, October 23rd, in Grand Central Station in NYC, under the 'stars'. It was so perfect! We were sitting on the floor, waiting for the train (like we used to do when we both worked the same shift), talking about how so many people go through Grand Central (it's truly grand), and how we used to sit in the exact same place. Then, he told me there was something he had meant to ask at the restaurant (we had gone out for dinner to a Portuguese Tapa's Restaurant, were he got 'food poisoning' [now I know he was just nervous]), but didn't work up the nerves. And of course, I said "What?" and he said...."*whisper* will you marry me?" and he pulled out the velvet box!! At first I giggled uncontrollably, then after he placed the ring on my finger, I blushed and kissed him a couple of times, then I told him I would "think about it" and then I started crying, out of joy, of course. We hugged and kissed and cried, and then we went home. It was perfect! I was so caught up in the moment, so I never looked around to see if anyone had witness the event, but it was pretty awesome...a proposal in Grand Central ^_^.

Now every time I see a movie on TV taking place in Grand Central, I'll be telling everyone that's were I was proposed to. Cool, huh??

Well, other than that, there's a million other things going on, but I'm not going to go into details, maybe some other day. Hope everyone's doing good, and wuvles and huggles!!

Wedding Bells

Well, it seems I update this less and less now a days. I don’t really have an excuse, but I have been busy with work, friends, and of course, the boyfriend. Alex is still living with me, and will hopefully start working at the front desk at my hotel ^_^. I’ll get to train her *giggles *!

In reference to the title, it seems that wedding bells might be ringing for me sooner than I had expected. I haven’t been officially asked yet, but my boyfriend wants to get married this coming summer, and I suppose I do too. >.>

Both our families know of our intentions, and at least from my side, they’re already planning for the wedding >.< I don’t really mind, since I’m not going to be in Puerto
Rico to plan for it, I will be needing tons of help from my loved ones. It’s actually kind of scary, there are so many details I hadn’t thought about (though I have been planning for this day ever since I was 10 years old).

I don’t want to get too ahead in the planning and plotting, since he hasn’t really ‘asked’ yet, but I’m really excited about the thought. So, just a heads up to all of you….you are ALL going to Puerto Rico next summer! ^_^

I'm back!

Okay, so I've been back from my vacation and I have yet to update...>.>

I had a blast! It was exactly what I needed...fun in the sun, friends and family, etc, etc. Meeting Jayme, Brandon, Alec and Charles was an amazing experience. We had so much fun, being ourselves, being goofy and silly, and just being together! We plan to do it again next year, so those of you who didn't get to come this time...start saving!!

In Puerto Rico I mostly just hung out with the family, which was exactly what I wanted. One of my brothers was in the hospital for the first four days I was there, he had a kidney obstruction. Nothing too serious, but it required the family stuck by the hospital, which was fine with me 'cause I got to hang out with my parents and brothers regardless. After he got all better, we did get to go to the beach and to Old San Juan, which I just can't get enough off! I also got to buy some cute tops to bring back to NYC to impress the friends over here, including the top I wore for my birthday (which was HOOOTTT!!).

My birthday celebration started since BEFORE I went on my vacation. First, I got flowers by my 'secret' boyfriend at work, which had me feeling drunk in love the whole entire day. Now I get why men send flowers to their ladies...it makes us woo! Then I was taking out to dinner to a lovely Thai restaurant and then to a movie (Superman). It was so romantic (Awww!)!

In Puerto Rico I celebrated the b-day with the whole family; I got tons of cool birthday presents and cake! And then when I got back to NYC, my friends from work threw me a birthday bash at a really nice club called Branch. I felt like a Princess and was treated like a Queen, it was truly unforgettable ^_^.

So there, that's a quick update of what's been going on. As always, work is fine, boyfriend's great (he's in Puerto Rico, and I miss him!), friends are cool and the family's awesome. Hope you're all doing great as well...wuvles and hugs!!

Vacation Time!

In exactly one week I will be flying down to Florida to meet up with Jayme (Phenix), Brandon (GIR), Charles (Char) and Alec (Jax)!!! We're going to have SO much fun, I know it ^_^. Originally we were going to stay at Phen-Phen's house, but now we're gonna be staying in a hotel near the beach where all the cool clubs and hang-outs are. I can't wait to meet everyone, after all, I've been chatting with them online for YEARS and have yet to 'see' them in person. *Squeels*

After my three days in Florida, I'll be flying to Puerto Rico! I can't WAIT to see my family and friends again, and to spend some time being home, doing NOTHING. I plan to get a tan, too, 'tis my mission this summer. I will get a tan, just you watch!

Anyway's, things are going great over here, boyfriend's good and all, work is fine, etc, etc. Ramon was suppose to be in PR around the same time I was going, and he would have gotten to meet my parents and such, but they never gave him the days off :( Oh well, I'm sure there'll be time for that in the future.

Well, I think that's it for now, I shall tell you all about my wonderful vacation when I get back, and of course, I'll have pictures! Wuvles to all, and see ya soon ^_~
