High maintenance baby

He's my first so I don't want him to be the trial and error child. I experienced that through my parents and we'll leave it at that. I been given some criticism regarding his bedtime. Needless to say, I do "baby" him when it comes to nap/bedtime. Usually we lay in bed together and talk, kiss, all the cute stuff you can think of. Tonight all that's listed above but mom wasn't in bed the entire time. He cried. I want him to know that he has a bed and to learn to fall asleep on his own. I need him to start falling asleep and going to bed on his own. Its hard to not fall asleep when you're putting someone to bed. So, it took him 40 minutes, pout for 10 minutes, getting out of bed 5 times, screaming out 3 "I love you mommy's" to finally fall asleep.

It's been a while hasn't it?

My son is 2 years old. Needless to say, he's handsome. Vu-genetics never fails.

As for me, I am not the same. My life hasn't been the same. All for the better and I wouldn't change any of it. I never would think I would be where I am today. Still, I have no idea how I got here. I don't even know how I remember this website from ages ago.

Here's a thought: Puzzles. You played with them in kindergarten with big pieces. If you still do its okay. When you're trying to put a puzzle together and you start with open the box. Off course the box might have a clear picture to what you're trying to piece in. But it doesn't come with clear instructions to which piece you need to grab first. You just start. From that piece you start to get closer and closer to that picture. Everyone sometime would grab a puzzle thinking it would fit. You try and then you place the extra effort into "making" fit. After the struggle you have this enlighten that "maybe" it won't fit. What a waste of time to think, maybe the maker of the puzzle co. made an error in cutting just this one piece. I think life is a puzzle. You're a purpose. How do you get there is up to you. Everyone has the free will to start whichever way they please. There's no wrong way of how to get to your goal, or the picture perfect life. I'm one of the few that will try to make things work. Certain things in life is a distraction, a bad habit, etc. I had my fair share of blaming God for many things. When things don't fit in life or doesn't make sense. I think, why did you give me this piece of puzzle? It should fit just fine here right now. We don't think to put it down and say maybe we can use this piece later in life?

Life is a box of puzzle. Not a box of chocolate. That's fatty and has too much sugar.

Evan woke up and he wants water. Good night.

I finished my homework! It feels so GOOOD when you don't procrastinate . I'm getting better at juggling school, Evan, and work now.

Just because of this I deserve an extra piece of cheesecake + Britney Spears music videos + prancing around in my underoos!

Oh, guess who's in love with Barney?? Hint: His infamous face is everywhere in this page.

I was going to go out of town this weekend but I decided to save that money and plan a BIG parrr-tay for Evan. I can't wait!! No one will know about this top secret parr-tay.... Tis a secret.

DSC04179  Don't ask Monkey, he won't tell you. Oh wow, he looks cross eyed... I don't know why he's in my parents laundry basket either.

I promise pictures will be set up soon... Evan is 11 mos in a few days and I have loads and loads of pictures that hasn't been printed/post.

Question: Have you ever had a booger..that just wouldn't go away???

I do.

Evan is so pha. No one has any idea how pha he is. My parents/Mike's parents couldn't handle him. He has so much energy and is such a loud mouth.

On other news, I think I want to take a road trip. SOON. I did one 2 years ago to Tallahassee. Where now?
