I'm deleting my Xanga.

If I get enough comments from people who actually read my site, then I'll consider not. But as of now, I'm going to delete it within the next few weeks.

How you y'all like the new layout? I absolutely love this soundtrack, even though the movie is a little...iffy at best. The music from this movie, however, is incredible. I got the soundtrack from a friend, and it's almost all I listen to now. It's wonderful.

Let me know how you like it, and if anybody knows, I want to put either Another Day on here, or Finale B, but I can't find them online. Does anyone know how to transfer music from CDs and ITunes to Xanga?

Forgive the below post: it was the product of a tired mind, prone to slightly depressive thoughts.

Well, last week, I went to the beach. It was quite an interesting journey, to say the least:

For starters, me and Anna got there Monday night, late. I got a "mosquito" bite that night bringing in luggage. I thought nothing of it, 'til I woke up Tuesday morning:

Yeah if you ever by some chance wondered, that's what Sarah looks like first thing in the morning. But if you can't tell, my right eye is completely swollen shut. It stayed swollen until Thursday night. Fun stuff for a family that is very picture-oriented.

Tuesday we were on the beach all day.

Yeah, they're all so cute. I love my family.

Wednesday, we went shopping, and Mom broke out the camera that night.

Those were taken at the restaurant, while we were waiting on our table.

Thursday was the night the whole family went out to dinner, after all the boys went deep-sea fishing.

This^_^ is the groom, my youngest cousin but one, on this side of the family. Isn't he adorable?

Friday night was the rehearsal dinner, which went over incredibly well.

That's my uncle, with his whole family, who sat at the table in front of us.

That's my mom, with my aunt, the mother of the groom. Aren't they gorgeous? I love them both so much!

Saturday was the long-anticipated wedding on the beach.

This is me, Martha-who-baked-the-groom's-cake, and Anna-Blake, my cousin's girlfriend.

This is the bride and groom, with their quite animated preacher from Happyville.

The wedding went off incredibly well, without a single hitch, then it was time to party!

On Sunday, we packed up, picked up, and left the beach for a much-needed drive home.

So that was my week, how was yours?

The End of Another Era

So, the summer's drawing to a close.

People are going back to school, and there will be reunions of old friends. Good friends will leave, not to be seen again until next summer. New friends are up and coming, not yet known, but will be unforgettable, just as the friends made this year will never be forgotten.

No more long days of doing nothing all day. No longer will there be long, hot nights of sitting at work with absolutely nothing to do( yeah you know who you are ). It's back to the books, back to school, back to studying: it's back to the daily grind.

With the daily grind comes the inevitable parting of ways. Your friends, whether years or simply months, will be gone off to their respective colleges or workplaces. None of you will have any time left to just be friends, like you did growing up. You will each have your own lives, and unless you make a conscious effort to be so, the other will not be a part of it. It's a hard truth: but a truth nonetheless.And it makes this, for some people, the hardest part of their lives.

And yet, this can be the best time of your life. A whole new world awaits you: college. New people, new experiences, new teachers: a whole new life. Nobody here knows you: you can be anybody you want to be for these new people. But be careful: once you make the impression, it is almost impossible to undo.

Live life to the fullest during these next four/five/six or so years, for they are the only time in your life that you will be truly free. All of the world opens up before you: you must embrace what God wants for you out of life. And He will help you find it.
