Name: Megan
Country: United States
State: Indiana
Metro: Fort Wayne
Birthday: 3/30/1984
Gender: Female

Interests: there are so many things i love. Singing, dancing (which i need to find a studio to practice), reading, searching the web, blogging in my journal, talking on the phone, hanging at Starbucks, and now hanging at Mocha Lounge with Tsipporah, shopping (the best remedy for anything!), movie watching, people watching, going to a store and trying on clothes i cant afford (haha), going to the park and swinging in the swings and feeling free like a kid, being with my best friends (which is a little hard to do right now since i am here and they are there), talking to my boyfriend (which has been in short supply lately), taking pictures, cooking (the foodnetwork is my best friend!), and being me. I like to do thinigs that are "self-exploration". I like to learn about myself. (and i like to argue!)
Expertise: you name it and i am good at it....i can only be my best and sometimes that s pretty bad. I love watching movies but my movie class at MJC totally ruined my curiosity since i learned tricks of the trade for cinematography. I am learning to dig into the Bible thanks to my Bible study. I am an expert at being a best friend, a daughter, granddaughter, cousin, neice, confidant, listener, a shoulder to cry on, and myself.

January has been eventful!

So- Brad's new job is not working oit- they are closing his store and want him to work at another store that is not close to where we live. We only have one car so it is not feasable (so not how it is spelled) for him to continuing to work for this company. He has however, secured a position with Boyett Petroleum, Co. He will start part time in two weeks then when his store closes (Madison Ave Closeouts) he will work full time for BP and move from an associate to assistant store mgr. AND- they are opening up 3 new BP stations in town and he would like one of them.

We are thinking about making Indiana our permanent home. We will see how it goes. His parents are doing well and his dad is up for a promotion that would put him in charge of the Phoenix Stadium- where the SuperBowl will be played at next year!!!! Dad sais he would try and get us in to the stadium- I told him I would even work in the stadium during the SuperBowl!

My job is doing well. I am now in charge of San Antonio, TX and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. So much for my break! I like my techs though. So that is good. They are making some changes within the service department which is good- I will be getting my pay raise soon- which is nice!

So- how was everyone's superbowl? It was awesome for me. It brought everyone in this state together. Everyone was friendly and happy. This was a once in a life time opportunity.   superbowl

WinterJam was two weeks ago- and it was great! Britt Nicole is my new favorite female Christian singer. She is so awesome! Jeremy Camp was fabulous as always and Steven Curtis Chapman had his sons' (plural- he has two!) band tour with him! They were good too! Hawk Nelson was awesome as was New Song and Sanctus Real. I am so getting there early next year for WinterJam- I am getting a front row floor seat!

Things are well here. We are entertaining the idea of buying a new car (no later than a 2005 model) due to the fact that the one we are driving now is a moving death trap.

So- please pray for the funds to buy a new car! Eventually we would like to settle down and buy a house- I am hoping that will happen within the next 2 years. But only God knows!

Take care guys!

It's The End of the World as We Know It

b387scd

Well, not really. But, some things have changed.

Bradley quit Hobby Lobby (he told them when his last day would be and a half hour later they let him go). He now works for a company called Madison Ave Closeouts. And he is the store manager! And that means a pay increase and it adds an impressive spot on his resume. he is happy and that makes me happy.

Work for me is doing ok. I am no longer a receptionist for Heritage. I am now in the dispatch department and I dispatch for our branch in Oklahoma City, OK. I went from having 14 techs to 5! (talk about a much needed break!)

Torrid is going well. Hours have been cut a bit but that is understandable. It is now time for the sloooooooow part of the fiscal year. But that's ok too! I am hoping some changes in management (good changes, not bad ones!) will be made soon.

Brad & I are starting to look at other churches. We went to one last week that made me homesick for First B. That's good, right? I think we will go back tomorrow. Pray that God leads us somewhere!

Life is good right now. Not great but we were always told that the first two years of marriage are the hardest. If it doesnt kill us (or we kill each other!) it will make us stronger. I firmly believe that.

Well, that is all from me for now. Until next time....

an update ('cause I have been bad at doing that!)

So...... the wedding went great..... well, not GREAT.... the actual ceremony and all things 'wedding' on the day of were fantastic. But there were some problems with the dresses.... like... NONE OF THEM FIT! So, Bradley's mom had to alter all the dresses. The guys looked smahing in their suits. I should probably post pics on here but I do not have any. You can go to www.myspace.com/lizziebelle84 and then click on the link to Brad's site and you can see even more pics there. It was fun.

We have our apartment all set up (messy, but set up). We are in an 'Adam & Eve' class at our church. It is for engaged or newly married couples. It is pretty cool. There are 3 marrid couples, 3 engaged couples and the married (25 yrs) couple that leads it. It is going pretty well. We need that foundation with others in our situations.

I hate my job. Have I mentioned that? And Brad hates his as well. We are both looking for jobs. And we needs a new car. So if any of you who still read this feel like praying... please pray for a reliable car for him and I. We have oen car to share and right now it is really unsafe to drive. I refuse to drive it on the interstate (freeway for those of you in CA) b/c it shakes so bad and it feels as if the undercarriage is going to fall out! haha.

Well, I better get going. I miss you guys. Oh.... John & Eric..... Anthony is going to be a dad in the spring. How cool is that?! Take care!

WEDDING UPDATE

Three weeks and counting until we make the trek back to CA. The invitations have been sent so please RSVP to the address on the bottom of the invitation no later than April 30th. It s important. Everything is coming along great. The girl's dresses are done and being shipped. My dress is almost done. (well....it s started anyway) All the guys (sans one) have been fitted for their tuxes. It s getting interesting.

I had the flu last weekend and poor Bradley had it this weekend. But,,,he was better in time to enjoy a great Easter dinner with my family. Aw.... haha I better get going. I still have a lot of last minute things to do. Take Care!
