Interests: ASL, the Deaf Community, The Red Cross, dogs, horses, running, learning that my "religion" is not really a religion, I do not follow a list of rules and do's and don't's. I am learning that I am powerless to change without the gift of my savior, the Holy Spirit. I can do nothing without Him. I am not bound by the law by rules and regulations, so why do I strive to do good, to not cuss, to not speed, to honor my elders, ect ? Because that is what my Savior asks of me, that is His love language and I love Him and I desire to show Him through my actions on this Earth, that He's worth it to me to do whats right! | I AM AN AUNTIE! My beautiful niece was born yesterday! I will never forget the sound of my brother's voice, when he proclaimed, in a voice full of thanks and awe, "She's here, she's here! 6lb, 8oz and a head full of dark curly hair....she's beautiful!" I am planning on visiting Ryan, Heather, and Kiara in August! Please continue to pray for them, because the mother can change her mind within 72 hours, but they have no reason to believe that she will. Kiara is in Ryan and Heather's custody right now, so they are truly the only parents she will ever know. God is so amazing! Please check out their story at:

| Super exciting news my friends! I may possibly be an Auntie soon! My brother Ryan and his wife Heather are hopefully going to adopt a beautiful baby girl. They have met with the mother and well.....it is a long story and they have a whole blog about it so I would much rather you read about it from them! http://www.kiarajoy.blogspot.com/ The blog spot is her name. Kiara Joy she is a bi-racial baby and Ryan and Heather wanted to honor her African heritage. As God would have it the birth mother was calling her Kiara from the beginning. But please read about their exciting story! I hope to hear good news, that I am an Auntie, in a week or so! Have a wonderful weekend!

| Update.....finallyHowdy,
It feels so good to update my xanga site! I love to read everyones updates and see the pictures of my beautiful nephews that I have yet to meet! I wonder, "I enjoy so much hearing everyone else's updates, I wonder if my family would like to hear from me and Thomas?" :) Sorry I am so bad about taking the time to update on Xanga! So here I am! Thomas and I are doing great! We have stayed very busy, obviously, and are looking forward to a fun filled yet busy summer! We are having family visit the last part of June and first part of July. As many of you may or may not know Thomas is deploying in October for 12 to 15 months. He will be in Afghanistan, I have yet to convince the military that I won't be in the way and I won't eat alot if they will just let me go with Him!;) Come to think of it, I have yet to convince Thomas to let me go to a country full of terrorists! Hmmmm...... Anyway, so family is coming up this summer to visit Alaska and see Thomas before he leaves! We are looking forward to that! Thomas has had alot of training and there is so much more to come. He will be gone for most of June and August for training. He really enjoys his job though, and that makes me happy! I have been busy with school, as usual, and have decided just recently to change my major, I am doing that officially tomorrow! My current Major is Biology Natural Science it is a degree designed for students who desire to go onto graduate schools like Vet. school or Physical Therapy, I was going to go P.T. but I have started thinking alot about what I really want to do, what do I want to wake up in the morning and think " Yes I want to go to work today!" Well, I really don't want an 8-5 job and I want to be flexible so I can stay at home and be a Mommy, so....what do I enjoy? I enjoy working with the Red Cross, I enjoy working with the Deaf Community, I enjoy helping elderly people and would love to work in an over sixties gym or retirement home, I still love physical therapy type stuff, so....... I am going to major in Physical Education and double minor in Nutrition and Athletic training. I have my goals set and I can actually see a light at the end of my tunnel! It is very exciting! Well, I know this weblog is alittle long so I will end now with the intent to add more later! Thanks for reading, hope you enjoyed hearing about my side of the world as much as I enjoy hearing about yours!
