  • I'm Happy

    I'm happy.

I'm social, I have more friends than I could ever count.

I'm hardworking, I received recoginition and awards.

I'm giving, I volunteer and share.

    I'm managed, I have a job that's a cinch.

I'm loved, and love in return.

I'm fine with the way I look.

I'm also fine with the scars on my arm.

    Sure. I'm fine with everything.

    I'm happy...

  • Ignorance ain't pretty...

ok... so walking towards the door, i hear the phrase "ching chong ching" and i think the muttered words "speak your own damn language"...idk but i don't want to accuse or assume. now. this voice i know who this is cause yea, it's one of those voices in your memory that just click like the close ppl around you or...somethin else..ugh. neways. long while ago last year, i had joined Rachel's Challenge where the girl joined to as well. if u dont know what Rachel's challenge is, its a program that inspires and motivates individuals to create a more positive influential environment to help build on towards that and so on. so. its kinda screwy how someone who was shown the causes and effects of positivity where they are now becoming a person saying bitter words. i mean, isn't this the reason why a certain amount of young individuals don't live at all before they grow up? (besides under the influence of substances and etc.) they kill themselves or become the killed. here's to think. do you know any individual that died during there years of school because of someone or someoneS? rachel scott? lawrence king? yea... because of a negative outlook on people.

  • Did i really just do that?

There are times...just random times, out of the blue, where you're in front of your peers, personnel, or strangers, and of course something goes wrong. You say, do, or "whatever!" something that isn't you at all. That's the time when you feel to pause, rewind, and edit. We probably all have had that moment. It's tough isn't it? But isn't that life really about, making mistakes? Why do you think the world is oh so screwy and corrupt. Sure, it's not peachy keen like we would have imagine it but life doesn't work like that easily, unless you're stranded in your own little paradise, which we would all want to know. Thanks to your little blooper, accept the fact you made a mistake.  Now you know to take a precaution in future stances. And if that doesn't work out good enough, well then do something about it in the bright side of life.

  • A Dream Not Forgotten

    "Honey, I'm Home!"

Yea, it ain't the fifties anymore. But when do you remember when you were in elementary school and had planned out how you were going to be when you are all grown up? Go to college, became what you wanted to be for the ideal career, find your soulmate and marry, get a house and car with kids surrounded by a white picket fence. Oh yea, yours may not seem oh so similar but can you admit that many were probably thinking about that when people were young and hopeless. Well, that's what many Americans expect to do in their cute little lifetime and pass it on to the next generation. But doesn't it sound I don't know, umm like a black and white pleasantville? Or it sounds as if we are all dolls living in a messed up toyworld with a toddler as our god? I dunno... but as times are changing, we're all changing along with it as well as the "American Dream". Nowadays, that ideal dream can mean anything. Striking it rich, having fame and glory, finding love, or just being happy with your life and how it's going to continue to make you happy. Our nation is so fixed by what the media and public portrays us of who they want us to be. It's time for all of us to make our own dream and make it the best whilst we have it.

  • To Find Love or To Not Find Love, That is the Question

    love icon

Being single. It's alright. In life, it's not necessary to be with someone in order to be or feel any better in life. You are your own individual. But for those who are sick of being the extra wheel, copilot, or just plain lonely because of canceled plans, it can be real frustrating...seriously. That's when you ask yourself, what am I doing wrong? Well, I can't answer that question because I wouldn't know what the heck is going on, but all I can answer to that is you have to find the answer on your own within yourself and others. When things get serious, it turns to being desperate. Oh sure, we all know at desperate times, we browsed through myspaces or other social networking sites just to find anyone potentially interesting, admit it. Other than that, you might have well joined groups, blog circles/rings just to find those with a similar cause. It's the feeling of wanting to feel the same experiences and interests with someone just to know what it feels to have your heart hop, skip, and jump. I mean why do you think sites always put a section to see what people are here for besides networking. Face it, deep inside we think about a certain someone. Wait! The title is called To Find Love or To Not Find Love, That is the Question. Where's the To Not Find Love part? Well love itself works its funny ways that screws around with our lives, both from a guy and a girl's side. I mean, when at desperate times, it is sometimes a good idea to stop finding love through boxes and bins of life and the internet...literally. At times, it's better to let love find you.

  • Suicide: The New Teenage Daydream (Pt. 1)

"For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s"                 (1 Corinthians 6:20).

The basic explanation for this scripture deals with suicide. Although, today’s meaning defines it as an act to deliberately kill oneself. In this generation, it’s becoming a threat that’s plaguing society with its own manifestation, especially reaching younger individuals. More people in the U.S. under the age of 19 die of suicide more than cancer, AIDS, heart disease, and lung disease combined, as well as the rates have doubled for those between the ages 10 and 14 in the previous decades. The statistics seem kind of outrageous for a death independently, but has its ways on certain people. Males are more likely to succeed using a firearm or hanging while females tend to attempt various times yet use substances that have a slight risk for them being able to be revived. For every person who commits suicide, another 100 individuals will contemplate eventually where for every 18 minutes, a person dies of suicide in the world. The question, is it ever too late to cause a change of heart when dealing with a vulnerable individual?
