There's so much to catch up with...

Wow, a lot has been going on since I dropped my xanga updates. You might've noticed, ever since I started work at Boscov's I've been pretty bad about keeping things up to date.

I'll try to catch you up - and sadly we don't have many pictures but I'll show you some of the ones I do have.

Firstly, things with my work have been somewhat stressful, and I've been getting sick a ton. I also feel I've gotten the experience I wanted there, and now want to at least have my license for cosmetology and begin attending schools for makeup artistry. Cosmetology is mostly geared towards hair, with some beautification extras (nails, makeup). However, I do need my license and I would like to have the education for the salon as well, so this is most likely my next step. Feeling like I have my next lead, and NOT wanting to work through the holidays, my last day of work at B's is one week from today (although I don't know if I'm working that day or not).

I'm very excited! I feel as if I'm one step closer to my goal. Time goes by so fast, I just hope I can keep up. I also want to spend more time with my family right now - I feel like I'm away so much. I don't really know when I will start school. I'm still praying about it, but I definitely don't want to start in the winter.

Ok, speaking of Boscov's, some of us dressed up for Halloween. Afterwards, when I came home, Mom, Suzanne and I went to the O'Malley's for a party. Mom went as Mary Poppins, Suzanne went as Hilary Duff, and I was whatever I was at B's - which was a dark fairy.

One of the biggest changes, however, for us was bringing my grandparents back to NC! They are at Caswell House in Yanceyville.

Mom, Granddaddy, and Dad entering their new abode.

Uncle Lee wheeling Grandmommy in.

Damian and I drove the truck which was loaded with linens, towels, and chairs.

Jonathan and Denise are coming to see us soon! We're all very excited - we haven't seen them in a while.

Things are going very well with Fred and me. Lately we've taken up webcamming and playing the Yahoo games on there - he's pretty competitive! ;) I flew down to surprise him with a visit in October, and had a really great time with his family. I'm looking forward to seeing them again in December. :)

That's it for now. I'm sure there's plenty more to update with but I'm in a bit of a rush.

It is with a heavy heart that I write this. The Lord gave to Jonathan and Denise a darling baby, but took it shortly after to be with Him.

Please pray for them. It's very difficult to understand why - in fact I just can't, but I know the Lord is in control.

The Lord is good, and I believe with all my heart they will be blessed with a child as soon as the Lord sees fit, which I pray is soon.

The phone woke me up this morning so wonderfully at 4am. I hate those phone calls, but this was a fire problem at Woodside, and she stressed NOT a fire. Gosh I hope everything's ok.

I'm getting a little tired but I don't feel like going to sleep yet. Since I was up, I decided I would quickly grace everyone with a quick update...

DENISE IS PREGNANT!!!!!!!!

Keep praying that she carries successfully throughout the term. And thank the Lord for His goodness! I have seen so many prayers answered this past month amidst so many hard a trying times, but I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good, and I will sing His praises. I have seen Him give extra "doses" if you will, of grace to my family during it's hardest seasons and I know we're not alone.

There's so much to be thankful and joyful for! And for starters, this Sunday my grandparents will be moved back here!! They will be living in the Caswell House in Yanceyville. It's an assisted living that just opened up. I'm so excited I get to see them again!!!

As for keeping my xanga updated, I apologize but that is just not going to happen at least for now. There is so much to do that I'm afraid I just don't make much time for this right now. But I am reading yalls to stay up to date in yalls lives since honestly I feel quite disconnected.

Love yall! Keep updating. ;)

Mary

P.S. DENISE IS PREGNANT!

I know I am supposed to do a 9/11 update, but at the moment things are extremely crazy, and I'm sure you will all understand if I delay it for a little longer.

As for a regular update, I can tell you briefly some of what has been going on. Suzanne is in school, Crystal is at Lee, Carter is in school, Noah is taking Driver's Ed, Dad and Mom went on their anniversary, Dad is traveling at the moment, I am working part time with Lancome, .......this morning I sliced my finger fairly deep, I burned my hand with a skewer, it's beginning to get cool around here - though without much chance of rain, it's almost too cold to swim in the pool unless you like a bit of a chill, the 4-wheeler has no front brakes due to a very humorous happening, I came up with a new way to conserve space in dressers, Mom and I are making our way through Pride and Prejudice since Dad is gone for a week, Stuart is working for Investortools, Denise is in San Antonio, and I need to get back to work.

I really do....
