For those of you who may know that we live in the flooded county of Lawrence in Illinois, we are all high and dry. The problem is gettin around to where we need to get. Rita and Larry have an ocean front view, but are dry. There still is alot of concern that the Wabash River will break a part of the levee near Pam and John's house. They are still dry as of this moment. We have had to make a lot of different travel arrangements just to get to work.

On a brighter note, Curtis' birthday was on the 9th. He is now 9. He is playing baseball this year and is having a very good year at it. Mitch broke his arm at school, the last week of school, while running up the steps from the band room. His baseball career this year consisted of two games, in which they won. He will continue to be in a cast till the end of this month. The bright side of it is he got alot of sympathy from his Grandparents and girls at school.

Howdy everyone. I want to ask that you say a prayer for me this Tuesday. I am having sinus surgery to remove a cyst in the maxillary sinus under my right eye and to get what I call my inner nose scraped. I will most likely be off work for two days. I keep getting sinus infections too often. Plus, I found out that I am allergic to atleast everything in my house except the dogs. ( I'm sure they appreciate that ) Brian will be going with me as I won't be able to drive for 24 hours after the procedure. I am hoping that it will help in elininating my headaches.

Ok......what, it's been about 8 months since I last posted. I have a new job and the summer just got away from me. I would like for all of you to pray for me. I found out this month that I have a cyst in my sinuses and is helping to make some dandy headaches. I go to the allergist again at the end of the month to find out what we plan to do with it and get some allergy test ran. The boys are back in school. Mitch is in Jr. High! Curtis is in 3rd grade. Mitch is almost as tall as me and is wearing his Dad's clothes. He is just 11 going on 18. For those who didn't know I have a new job.... I am working at Vincennes University in the records office. I like this position. I work alot with students which I like. Thought I should let you all know that we are having our annual hayride and weenie roast on Oct. 27 at 6p.m. Central time. (that's for those of you in Indiana who live on eastern time) Everyone is welcome to come.
