Preparing for the coming revival

It has been many months since I have updated my Xanga site, but I had to write an entry in the hope to invite others to come and join me for a training school for the purpose of raising up leaders, who will go in the power and the spirit of Elijah, in preparation for the coming Great Awakening/Revival and the Global Great Harvest. Here is the information...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of the pastors and leaders in Greater Washington D.C. area,
as great multitude of God's people all over the world,
have been praying for the great revival in such a time as this
and we have been sensing coming God's special favor and move in D.C.
Many including Loren Cunningham of YWAM have sensed that God will use Korean-Americans in this last days for the great global harvest and. God is raising up men and women of God for such a time as this. Dr. Elijah Kim has been specially called by God to prepare for the coming revival and to raise up leaders.
We in Washington D.C. area pastors and leaders are excited about hosting a Elijah School, (a training school to raise up leaders for the coming great awakening/revival and the great global harvest), for English speaking 2nd Generation pastors and leaders.
Following is the information for the Elijah School in D.C.
Thailand 2007 Update 2 - 07/29
Here is an update on Thailand Mission Team.
Please Keep on lifting up the team, their safety & health, God's powerful presence in ministry, and the outpouring of God's blessings upon Pastor Luka's ministry to Ahka hill tribe...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
From: Su Kim

Greetings from Chiang Rai, Thailand,

I don't have much time, so I'll have to be brief. The team arrived safely in Chiang Rai.
No major illnesses or anything during travel. Flights were all on time
and the team was greeted by Pastor Luka with lei's (flower necklace) made of Jasmine.

Praise the Lord! We ALMOST had an issue with the guitars.
At the airport, despite my minimal Korean speaking skills, I was able to communicate to them that we'd like to check our bags to CEI rather than BKK, including the guitars. The people at Korean Air were SO incredibly helpful, almost God-sent. There was some confusion so all of the bags BUT Christina and Phillip's were going to CEI, while theirs were going to BKK. We were able to resolve that, however. Since we had them checked to CEI, Pastor Luka was able to write a letter to the airport customs office that the guitars were going to be given to his foundation and not sold for profit (the customs officer was concerned b/c the guitars were brand new). Had they been checked to BKK, we would have likely had major issues. But wow! We gave them the guitars today after Sunday service, and they were incredibly thankful.

The team is doing incredibly well. No wallflowers at all; everyone is falling in love with the kids and is doing a phenomenal job in loving them. Health-wise, most everyone is doing well (More on Christina below).
Pastor Luka and Ghan are very appreciative of our church and it's amazing to see the relationships we have built with them and the kids.

Christina was good until yesterday (saturday). She threw up 3 times and couldn't hold anything down all day. She's feeling a whole lot better today, but please continue to pray for her. It may be a result of the heat.

Other than that, we're very thankful for the prayers and we are definitely feeling the effects of them!

I'll update again as soon as I can.

Blessings,
Su and Christina, and the T'07 team.

Thailand 2007 Update 1 - 07/24

Here is an email from Su from Bangkok. The team has arrived in Bangkok safe and they are having a good rest before flying out to Chiang Rai... Please continue to keep our team in your prayers...

subject:  Greetings from Bangkok

Hi PQ,

It is now 7:49a.m. here in Bangkok. The team arrived safely at 1a.m. and we feel rested and ready to go. Traveling mercies were incredible and there were no major delays. The team is still sleeping right now (wake up time is at 8a.m. since the team went to sleep around 3), but Christina and I woke up feeling incredibly refreshed despite a few hours of sleep. So thank you so much for your prayers.

We are having a prayer meeting at 8:30a.m. and then having breakfast and heading to the airport at 11a.m. for a 1:45p.m. flight into Chiang Rai.

Some prayer concerns:

Team focus-not that anyone is distracted, but I think it is going to be imperative that we are alert so as not to give the enemy any opportunities.

Team unity-we'll be having a time of prayer for one another tonight. Pray that God would unite us all the more.

Love for Luka and AYDC-that's why we're here and my prayer is that our love for them and for the Lord be evident.

Last night, I had a dream that He would move mountains.

Blessings,
Su

Primacy of Intimacy with Him...

More than anything… Seeking Him first…

“Lord, everything You wish to give me in this life

     give to my enemies,

Everything You wish to give me in the next life

     give to my friends,

To me

     give Yourself.”
