Do I dare say..... Update

I have decided to conjure up another magnificent recount of my time here at Princeton to appease the masses requesting an update. So, my time here has been decent, nothing eventful but nothing painstakingly boring. I've honed my monopoly skills, but I dare not say I have upgraded from my novice level. My research has been going well, but I am not looking forward to the many hours behind the confocal microscope that I need to do to image these slides. I should take more pictures here since Princeton has a ton of money to spend willy nilly and has upgraded the campus to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible. Just google 'Prospect House' or 'Prospect Garden'. Very nice little nook within Princeton I just have learned about.

Highlights of Princeton

Some highlights of my time at Princeton so far:

- Met/was in the same room as one of the 1995 Nobel Laureates

- enjoyed the benefits of the Molecular Biology endowment that funds the bowls of cookie that appear at 4 PM everyday

- I forget the rest

There are 10 kinds of people in the world, those who know binary code and those who don't

So, life is going well for me in Princeton, NJ.  Things are going well in the lab though the smell of the agar that the flies eat annoys me like no other.  After exploring Princeton, I have really taken to the neighborhood and surrounding areas near Princeton.  I still think that New Jersey is the residual trash of New York.  But as that saying goes, Princeton is my treasure of New York's trash.  I've been working on my personal statement, and I think the final direction I am taking it in will greatly enhance it.  So, if you have free time, I am always looking for people to help me revise/edit the paper.  Also, I have become a fan of Last Comic Standing on NBC.  I have found myself at times actually laughing out loud.  This is rare for me as those "hahaha"s and lol's that I might interject into online conversations are actually false self-esteem boosters i lob to you all.
