i love this site!!! im in need of some help though ive completely lost it ive eaten so much the past week im 141lbs/64kgs which is disgusting. but i thought i was pregnant so i couldn't really starve myself but luckily im not so now i need to get back on track and im finding it hard.

on her site you just seemed really, really pissed off. the truth is, you have no right, this is an illness, but its wrong to glorify destroying your body to other people.  you make it seem like its the cool thing to do to let your body waste away.  i have to say that if i saw a girl when i could almost shove my hand under her ribs, because they stick out so much, i'd be revolted, i'd probably puke just a little bit.  caycerra is right, you have a mental illness.

it looks like your ideas are derived from hollywood, and its constant idea that a body that keeps getting thinner and thinner is a good thing, that its beautiful. in my mind, its disgusting, its revolting, its just plain wrong.  being of an average weight and average size isn't a bad thing.

How can we walk around eating? Last I checked our bodies need food to supply energy for the various functions. But overall, for live. We need food to supply us the means to continue living.

How can we sit there in our stomach depositing fat? Um? Maybe because that's what our bodies are meant to do? That's the way nature made it to happen. There's a reason people get fat, and there's a reason that you have to maintain a certian amount of fat on your body. The fat is a long term storage of energy. Without you'll likely die.

So yeah, you're killing youselves. There's nothing beautiful about that. Nothing at all.

I encourage you all to go do a little research on Greek culture, and look at the representations of the human form in their art. In almost everything, they would have a depiction of the perfect human shape. And guess what? It's not a freaking rotting skeleton. It's a healthy meaty person. And there's no reason not to believe in what the Greeks put forth, because without them we wouldn't have any of the basic principles for today's society. We wouldn't have theater, we wouldn't have a lot of things. So don't take that lightly. You're completely disrupting the image of a human being, ruining and twisting it.

Get help. It's a mental illness. And it's not healthy.

I dont wanna be like a basher but this site makes me feel so ashamed of every single one of you girls, your not fat and being anorexic doesnt even make you look pretty, you look worse, you arent beautiful anymore because your body is dying. You wear these big baggy clothes, so whats the point of even being skinny, no one can tell and you dont look pretty anymore everyone is beautiful except when you stop eating, because you start to look dead. it's sickening. Encourageing an eatind disorder is wrong, its the toughest time of your life and you encourage it, you people can't have an eating disorder because you'd know it's somuch pain why put someone else through the pain. If this helps anyone have the courage to stand up and say you know what your right and i need help, i'll be proud but if no one even reads this and realizes wow i have a problem, im just gonna be dissappointed in every single one of you girls.
