::Aditional Info::
Hundreds of millions of rabbits are slaughtered each year for their fur and their flesh. Rabbits on fur farms spend their entire lives confined to tiny metal cages with no shelter from weather extremes and no chance to dig, jump, or play. To kill the rabbits, fur farmers break the animals' necks or smash their skulls before stringing them up by their legs to cut off their heads.
Hundreds of demonstrations against Wet Seal have been held from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., from Hawaii to Puerto Rico. Celebrities such as Andy Dick, The Used, Mike Ski of The A.K.A.s, Hawthorne Heights, and members of Goldfinger, and Adam Russell from Story of the Year have pitched in.

Currently listening to: "Did you" By: Hoobatsank, off the Siderman 2 Soundtrack

Nah, I take it back, I'll still update every now & then, but in a different format, the other one got annoying, but was great for organization....

Graduation, it's a bitter-sweet experience. You're done with High School, and you're ultimately thrown into a sea of sharks, the real world. You can either  go straight to work, or take a detour (college), where you will learn to hone and master new skills to "take a short-cut to the top." No matter which journey you choose to take in life, you will inevitably end-up leaving lots of things that you care about behind: people, friends, things...

So, what does graduation mean to me?

Good luck in the

Real world, where you must

Absolutely

Depart from

Ultimately

All that you know, in order

To,

Inconceiveably,

Overcome, and conquer,

[k]Nowledge. (and hopefully be successful in the end...)

So, Now the question is: What does graduation mean to you?

This your boy Quiz, and before I begin, I'd like to thank those who got involved before: Mav-12 (really like your anology), K-King, and the others. ShOuT oUtS: Sup Lonely-G087...

Tonight's topic: Salutary neglect / blindness to what's in front of you.

The age-old question: There isn't one, just some points...

People are soo blind! They don't see what's in front of them. People spend sooo much time looking for someone/something, and it's right in front of them. Whether it be a boy/girl-friend, or what ever. They neglect the people that want to be noticed, that try to be everything they desire, and when they finally realize that what they want has been there all along, just waiting, it's taken.

Some people search for someone to share everything with, secrets, chats, ect..., but they don’t see that what they want, they already have. This one girl responded saying that she was looking for someone who watched Noggin, so she could talk to them about w/e shows she liked. I’m pretty sure she has expressed these feelings before, and someone around her heard them. They, in turn, started watching these shows, and tried talking to her about them. But, she wasn’t interested in them, or what they had to say...

Not a shocker to anyone, but people hate being neglected! When you don't spend time with them, or give them the emotional support they desire, they tend to start pulling away from, or resenting you, and various other effects could take place. This could end a long friendship, cause arguments, and so on...

John Locke said that man is self-interested, that no one will do something that goes against what they plan to achieve in the long run. Another philosopher, whose name I can't recall, said that people only interact with others, because they receive something in return. Think about it, your friends, your family: they give you love, affection, presents, gifts, money, ect... Take away the emotion & physical things that you receive from them, would you still talk, or hang out with them, NO! Most people are ignorant to this fact, and after reading this, you'll probably just disregard it, or intentionally forget about it, but that's a natural reaction, people don't like to believe that they are soo selfish.

Just here to keep you thinking. Hollaback peeps, and Sound off, lemme know what you think, and what you feel'n...

This your boy Quiz, and before I begin, I'd like to thank everyone who responded: Thnx for your input. I really like those who really got involved, like K-King: 2 dollars is always better than 2 cents!

Today's topic is: Physical attraction

The age old question: Does the way a person looks really matter?

People say it all the time, "It's not the way someone looks, but their personality that makes them desireable." However, most don't really mean it. What if you met someon who was perfect? Someone who had everything you were looking for in a [wo]man? I mean, everything to the T. The only catch is, that they don't meet your physical desires.  I mean, they're not ugly, or repulsive, just not what you want, wether it be weight, size, or what-ever. What would you do? Keep in mind they want to be with you, and you like everything about them, with exception to the way the look...

Also, people who have boyfriends/girlfriends say that if they [their 'significant other'] looked different, nothing would be different: they'de still have hooked up, ect... However, one cannot be totally sure, because they do not have to test that assumption. In fact, I know of instances where two people who were very similar wanted the same person. That person, chose the one who was better looking. When asked why he/seh didn't choose the other, he/she simply replied, "He/she wasn't my type." [Keep in mind that they (the 2 people) were pretty much the same person]

Just here to keep you thinking. Hollaback peeps, and Sound off, lemme know what you think, and what you feel'n...
