So work was a bit better today. I think I am starting to get back into it now. Only really interesting thing about the day was fire extinguisher training. I had to put out a pretty good size fire using a fire extinguisher. It was fun playing with fire... haha
The trip to Cali was a lot of fun. I flew into LA on wednesday night. I found out later that another plane had landed at LAX earlier that day where it's landing gear was screwed up and it ended up being an emergency landing. I got my rental car... a PT Cruiser. (I could barely curb my excitement...)
On thursday, I picked up Dave and made the 2.5 hour trip to the area the wedding was in. I say area b/c we were going all over the place in the area between Santa Maria and Lompoc. (30 miles) We were able to see a missile launch on thursday night.
Friday was a day where we mainly worked on set up. My job mainly was shuttling back and forth between Lompoc and Santa Maria. The rehersal and picnic were fun. The picnic did get cold though seeing as how i gave up my sweat shirt. Did I mention that that area of Cali was damn cold.
Saturday... the wedding... it was a beautiful ceremony, and like I said before Becca looked great. The reception was a ton of fun. I was actually dancing. Lots of fun to be had.
Got back here then on sunday.

The hard part is that I know I am lucky to still have all my grandparents, but I'm starting to get nervous about their health. My mom's dad was just in the hospital for over a week and my dad's mom now has this cancer that has spread throughout her body. Gloomy news from me... maybe my next post will be a bit cherrier.
