So, Band Camp is happening right now.
Am I excited? MEHHH...
Then, NewsMag is happening next week.
Am I excited? YES!
Then, school is happening the week after.
Am I excited? KIND OF.

| So, summer is half-way over.
[oh, crap.]
This season has been eventful, which is why it's been the best summer yet, despite the fact that I lost a dear teacher to lymphoma.
There are going to be ups. There are going to be downs. But in the end, this is what it's all about.

| Over two weeks later -- I'm still kickin'.
Summer has definitely been eventful.
[Despite the drama, I can say it's been one of my favorites so far, and this is only the beginning.]
So, that "someone new" is out of my heart but still in my mind, and I realize that he'll always burn in my mind, but it's up to me whether I'll let that affect my happiness.
Life's going to throw some crap in my face, and it's going to bring good things.
And I think that's what life's all about.
I'm going to Texas in about thirty-six hours, and I'm more excited than you'd know.
I'll post later when I find the time.

| Almost a month later...
It's still good.
Events have definitely happened.
Some good, some bad.
Good stuff: I lettered in Band, Academics, and Color Guard.
(Hopefully I'll letter in Newspaper next year.)
I am the Secretary of German Club.
I found someone new.
Summer is approaching.
I've been happier lately.

Prom was fun, but I've run into some difficult times since then. Why? Because I really like my date, but he lives in Oklahoma. CRAP.
