I figure I should update, just cause I have nothing else to do.

Yep, we're here in Wisconsin now.  It is freezing cold.

Life has been sooo boring without Internet and nothing on tv.  But thankfully the tv shows I watch are starting up again over the next few weeks.

I live for phone calls with M.A. and of course the trips to the library, where they have wireless interenet.  Not to mentions a fairly good DVD and CD collection. :)

Not much to write about right now.  We're moving fyi.  Dad took the job in Wisconsin, so we'll be going sometime in the coming few months.

I've been playing around with Paint Shop and made a couple of larger blends.  One's 'Stargate: Atlantis', one of my fav tv shows, and the others also from a tv show "Bones':

What's Left of Me

Yikes, I've really slacked off in keeping up-to-date.  Anyway, yesterday was the Performance 400 Nascar race at Michigan International Speedway.  Even though the race was shortened by the rain, it still ended up being a great race anyway.  Kasey Kahne won! Wooohooo!  The paint scheme Kahne was running was for Adam Sandlers upcoming movie Click, so it made sense that Sandler was the Grand Marshall for the race.  His "Gentlemen, start your engines" line was one of the best I've heard this year.  American Idol contestant from Season 2, Josh Gracin, was the singer for the National Anthem.  He's one of the few who didn't completely massacre the song.

I got a couple of pictures, but not much since it was much more fun watching the race than taking the time to take pics. :P

I love Wednesdays.  First off, its usually one of the easiest school days of the week, thanks to my flexibility of being homeschooled to make it so.  Second, the best tv shows of the week come on.  LOST, Alias, Bones, and American Idol.

*spoiler to this weeks episode of LOST*  I can so not believe Libby died!  It's totally unfair and I nearly cried.  *sniff and sob*  Poor Hurley.  Now he's going to feel so guilty.  I never much liked Michael before he came back, and now I completely hate him.  May he die and slow and painful death before the season's over!  Good stuff with Mr Echo and Locke, though.  Locke's doubting now what he's supposed to do.  His destiny, as it were.  I guess Echo's there to bring him back to where he should be. Btw, where are some of the characters that we haven't seen for a while:  Claire, Charlie, Sayid, Sun and Jin?  Hopefully they'll come back before the end of the season*spoiler ends*

I finished reading a NASCAR romance novel that I enjoyed.  It did imply sex before marriage, but it was clean enough that mom let me have it.  The author has another book, Dangerous Curves, that I'll have to get when I have a chance.  I'm also waiting for another book about elves and vampires (my sort of thing) that mom's currently taking the black marker to.  I told her I'd skip over any bad parts, but I guess she doesn't believe me.  Darnit, I'm losing my touch.  :P

Oh, and Dad got the tickets for the NASCAR race at Michigan International Speedway coming up June 17.  They're the same seats we got last year.  At the very top of Turn 3.  The view of Pit Road is awesome, and you can see the whole track.  *claps and hands happily*  We'll also go either Friday or Saturday (don't remember which it was).  lol, I'm already dreading the traffic we'll have to deal with.  It usually takes a few hours just to get out of the MIS area after race day.

Eek, I took a long break from writing online, but I've promised myself to start getting back to it.

Last Wednesday's LOST was amazing.  *spoilers ahead*  When Michael shot Ana Lucia, Libby, and then himself, I was like 'omg, omg, OMG!'  I've completely bored everyone in my family since then by contiually telling them my theorys on why Michael would do that.   Either he's become an 'Other' and has joined in on whatever their scheme is, or the Others have gotten Michael to betray his fellow castaway's by promising the return of his son Walt.  That's my thought, anyway.  Henry the other said his mission was to come and get Locke and that it had failed because he got caught, but I'm not sure if I believe that.  I think Henry intentionally got caught, and that everything that's happened is going exactly like he planned.  Sufice to say, I'm can't wait until this Wednesday's episode of LOST. *spoilers done*

This week's NASCAR race was on the radio, but since it didn't go well for Kasey I guess it didn't matter much.  He's slipping in the Championship points. Arg! Dale Jr. won the race so most NASCAR fans are happy, and Jimmie Johnson also had a good finish.

It's only two more weeks until our family trip to Marco Island, so I'm starting to work on a list of stuff I'll need to take.   I bought a bunch of new shirts, including this cool pink one that dips in a V shape in the front and overlaps a bit at the bottom.  My mom will hate how low it goes, but I love the design.  I checked to make sure my last years swimsuits still fit, and happily they do.  They are those mix and match sets so I have two bottoms and two tops that are interchangable.  My favorite is the skirt bottom with the denim top. :)

ps I'm thinking about working out a new layout for my Xanga.
