  • so, i finally made it taiwan :)

the trip over here was probably one of my best overseas flights in a long time

it wasn't a very full flight, so my mom told me to go to
the back of the plane and see if they had any open seats. welll,
the last middle section of the plane (4 seats) was completely
empty, So i totally took over my own little row :D
and every seat had a pillow and blankets, so i used ALL of them
and then, i had a tylenol pm and slepppppt
they woke me up for a little while to give me more blankets and
pillows :p so by the end of the flight, i had about 6 pillows and blankets   when i woke up, we were only an hour and a half away,
so i made a pimp chair i lined a chair with pillows and blankets
and kicked back for the 1:30 remainder of the trip

the stewardesses laughed at me in my pimp throne, but i think deep down inside, they thought i was super cool

To be honest, I'm just really glad the term's over. Man, that was a crazy term. Hopefully, my grades won't drag down my GPA too much, I busted my butt all finals week and hopefully (with some help from the pity of my professors), I managed to do well enough to raise my grades to acceptable levels.

I think it's going to turn out to be a pretty sweet break here in taiwan :)

I've never been here in the winter, and the weather is pretty jawwsome

but i was going through some of my cliffdiving stuff and old photos from plano, and I realized I'm prolly gonna miss out on alot of Texas fun :(

I miss you wily Texans, each and every one

  • Bahhh, my really hard week didn't turn out so great. :f

My tests didn't go so well so now I'm scrambling to catch up on the final. I don't really like the quarters system; not really any room for error.

So, studying is pretty much all that's going to happen for the next 2-3 weeks. My mom's coming up on Friday to visit, and we're going to hang out a little bit, but I'll be studying alot, too. If I had known I was going to do so badly on those tests, I would have told her not to come, so she wouldn't have had to waste money on plane tickets to come here and watch me study. Arggh :p

Man, if I could rewind my life, I would go back to the beginning of this term and started all over again. I'd be willing to go through the 60+ hours of lab again, if I could start all over again :\ . Gah, I can't believe things turned out this way. Well, I guess all I can do now is try to make the best of everything and study my rump off.

I think I played too much basketball this term; that's probably what the problem was :p

  • Hi! :)

So I'm updating for the first time in a really long time. It's been a really long time 'cause I've been so darn busy! Anyways, I ended up getting tricked into taking Honors Organic Chemistry, so most of my time is taken up by chemistry study and/or a cappella shizz.

I've got a tough week coming up, with an Abnormal Psyc test coming up tomorrow and then Ochem test and International Trade test Wednesday night/Thursday morning. Bah, I miss the summer :(. Last summer is probably going to be one of my last fun summers in awhile. Cliff-diving and hanging out in Austin was suh-weeet, going to Chicago was tons of fun and going to LA to watch the sister get hitched was pretty darn cool, also :p.

Anyways, I guess that's all that's really going on in my life right now. Still majorless, though the idea of going to med school is more enticing than it was last year (My parents are going to be really glad to hear that ;p), but I don't think I'll have the grades to be really competitive for an elite med school. So, I guess we'll have to just wait and see how everything turns out in the end.

Oh! For anyone who plans to be hanging out in Asia over winter break, I'm going to be hanging out in Taiwan and Japan (for a couple of days) this winter break. So if you're going to be in the area gimme a holla and we will hang out in a different country.

Well, okay... I guess I should get back to studying :p

    Miss ya'll :)

  • Hung out on campus alot today :p
I thought today would be my last day here, but mom decided to wait 'til tomorrow to make the drive up to Austin.
Soo, I just wandered the campus for most of today.
At night, some of us went party-hopping at the UT frats but I was pretty tired, so I just sort of kept to myself

Originally, we planned to go meet up with some people we knew on Sixth Street, but noone wanted to pay the cover charge, so we ended up just going to a couple of frats and heading back to the apartment relatively early.

Another noteworthy occurence, for you basketball fans, was that the USA lost to Argentina in the Men's basketball semifinal today. So the best the US team can get now is the bronze :f

Well anyways... I guess I'll be heading off to bed early so I can be alert for the drive to San Antonio
I hope everyone has had (or is having) a great night :)
