So, I figured I should probably update before I left this thing alone for a whole year. A lot has happened since my last post. I have my own place these days. I'm also head of the Seafood department at Nell's now. I'm still working towards my A+ certification. Laura and I broke up back in May, so if anyone out there has a secret crush on me, now would be the time to say so. ;) I was never very good at these things, so I guess this tiny update will have to do. If you all comment on this entry I might just post more often.Peace to you all.
| I've decided that I'm not going back to school next semester. It's just too much work for something that i don't need. All I want to do is fix computers, and i don't need a dgree for that. All I need is the A+ Certification, which I will be working towards when i get home. I'll be going back to live at home for a little while and going back to my job at Nell's. I'll also be looking for a second job to supplement my income. I'll be looking for my own apartment as soon as i can. As soon as I get the A+ Cartification, I'll look for a full time job working with computers. I'm not going to be a dead-beat dropout or anything I do have a plan. Wish me luck with the rest of my life. | | |
| I'm
having lots of fun here at IUP. I've made some great friends and have
been having fun with some old ones. College itself is pretty cool. My
classes aren't all that bad. I've missed my 9:15 history class a couple
times cause it's too early. It's not too bad, all he ever does is lecture
from the book, and he doesn't take attendance. I'd hate to say how I'd
do with an 8:00 though. It's funny. I'm only 3.5 hours away from
Carlisle and still in the same state, but there are little cultural
differences between here and back home. The big obvious one is that
everyone out here drinks "pop" instead of soda. I've also heard people
calling rubber bands "gum bands." It just shows that dialect changes
from place to place. Also, there are 4 different grocery stores in this
town, and none of them are the same as the stores back home. Even
Walmart is laid out differently. The local Lutheran church as rather
nice. Lutheran worship services are universal. Well, I'm going to go for now. I might post again at some point.
| Hey, if anybody wants to read my diary, I don't really use this page
much anymore, but I do still use my Open Diary site.

| Wow. It's been over a month since I posted. I don't
know. This site is ok I guess. I do know a lot of people on
here, but I'm more a fan of Open Diary. Anyway, The past month
has been relatively uneventful. If anything interesting ever
happened in my life, I'd type about it here, but nothing interesting
ever seems to happen.
