i know i haven`t updated since thursday. i`m sorry. friday was kels`s 13th birthday party. of course, i wasn`t invited. they went to a hotel overnight & got home saturday around 11ish. i had XC friday & saturday until 10 or 11 am. saturday my grandparents came & i had work from 3-7. sunday was rachel`s party. that was fun. & i was there pretty much all day. monday was the beginning of week #2 of preseason. ran 4 miles at VF & then kayaking. kayaking was insanely fun. went in a van with yates, HG, lyndsey, lai yee, & calamia. we found out yates cannot drive, especially when there are people she knows in the car. so we almost killed the people in steph steiner`s car haha. & laura drives really slow. so it was a crazy ride up. lai yee & i went to 711 & then we basically left. laura`s car tried to steal our pretzels but then she cut us off so yates made her give it back. went in a kayak with lai yee. it was hard work. there`s some pictures that i might put up later. stauffer sent me 3. today i have practice for XC from 3:30 to 5:30. oh yeah, & scrimmage on friday. at home, thank god. but there`s gonna be almost 13 schools. it`s crazy. i`ll let youu know how i do, just ask me, cause i dunno if i`ll post it on here or not. leave me comments <33 youu all

felt like updating. i have a ton of hilarious pictures i wanna put on here but i can`t get the scanner hooked up. bummer. i need a digital. seriously.

practice today till 11 & then drove jakie home. good times in the weight room haha. i did some crunches & stuff. more than some other people. oh yeah, & got a t-shirt. smile when it hurts. today we did some crazy drills for warm-up. killed my ankles. that`s not so hard to do. tomorrow we go to VF again? sure.

kels turns 13 tomorrow. she`s having a party with her friends over at a hotel. so it`s just me & my dad. well, my g-rents are coming. so them too. i finally ate dinner for the first time since sunday. haha. here`s some stuff to fill youu in

sunday* worked 9-5 & learned breakfast. some of it, i mean. ran from 5:30 to about 5 minutes to 6. got lost in abbey downs. saw ryan & alyssa on this go cart thing. not much else.
monday* first day of preseason. worked until 8 & came home. ate chicken wings. if that even counts as dinner?
tuesday* 2nd day of preseason. went to VF but the bus was 18 minutes late. yes. ran 3-3 1/2 miles. worked until 8 & ate leftover pizza. wow, again a great dinner.
wednesday* 3rd day of preseason. ran 4 miles up at VF. different trail though. work from 4-9. crazy times at dinner rush. haha. burned my finger trying to make grilled cheese. at least it`s not the pan. that's an improvement.
thursday* 4th day of preseason. time-tested 1 1/2 miles. 12:46. yeah, it's slow. but i'm not the average distance runner. & according to stauffer, i smiled so i needed to work harder. but we both agreed that the time was impressive by my standards. came home & fell asleep. chiropractor 4:30. i`m beat.

ive learned a lot of things in my life. ive learned how to make new friends. & keep the old. & what its like to slowly drift away from the old & regret it later. ive learned about many many hardships in life & you cant always blame someone for their actions. ive learned people make mistakes. some more than others. that everyone is imperfect. & were all trying to impress the "same guy" who doesnt even care. that sometimes we really arent lying when its suspected of us. that everyone needs a put-up once in a while. that if youu never had bad days the good ones would be just as boring. that you cant have everything in life. that theres a cost that comes with your actions. to think before i talk. to be honest & tell people how i feel before time runs out. ive learned who my true friends are & who arent. ive learned to laugh. & i always laugh, even when somethings not that funny. ive learned who cares about your life & who couldnt care less. who loves you & who doesnt. who has been there & who hasnt. who knows what you mean & who doesnt. & who wants to get to know you better & who just wants you to go away. ive learned relationships take effort on both parts & both people need to be willing to get to know each other. that you dont need 300 friends & sometimes a few best friends are better. that acquaintances arent bad either. & shouldnt be looked down upon. that you should always step in when others need help & dont expect anything in return. that most things in life are earned. not a priviledge. that you cant judge someone by what they wear. that cliques are harsh & should be avoided at all costs. that some people are cold-hearted all the time & dont seem to be aware of it. that school isnt fun but its all good in the end. that people do stuff for you to help not hurt you. that thank you is always nice to say when someone does or says something to/for you. ive learned that the little things in life should be able to make you smile. that some memories are stronger when missed. that the past is something we cant change. that the people of our past have made us who weve become. that music and clothing style should not determine our friends. that not everyone is forgiving. that change is inevitable. that gossip can only hurt. that everyone needs a break once in a while. that worrying doesnt change anything. that you shouldnt have to try to impress the right guy in order for him to like you. that love is gonna come around at some point in your life but dont look for it. that love is a part of everyone in some way. that everyone is their own person. that sometimes people expect more of you only because they know you can do better. ive learned that the people of my past are the most amazing friends in the world. that they taught me about everything from death and grief to cheerleading and coaching. about what real friends should be like & about guys. about coping with parent and teacher issues at school and at home. about standing up for yourself. about not giving in the peer pressure & realizing everyone is gonna have a chance to grow up. that living in the moment isnt such a bad thing. & that all of these things are true because i feel like crying right now. about getting that feeling like you cant live without them. about them being your "favorite hello & hardest goodbye" & learning to move on. & other times- not having to move on. & being there for each other at any given time. & just being a great friend.

not much to say. i`m just bored. nobody`s been commenting. tomorrow is the first day of XC preseason. cool i guess. worked from 9 to 5 & learned some b-fast stuff. & tomorrow from 12 to 8. rachel is having a party on sunday & i really wanna go. so we`ll see. *crosses fingers*
