Anyways Lent is here.. Another 40 days to go before our Lord rises again. A time of giving something up for the Lord..Well its tradition to sacrifice something but really there is a broader picture. Sure we can give up those "things" but why not take it to a new level? Think of others..see what else can you do to help someone else? Jesus always did great stuff for other people during these times..Lent isnt about giving something up. It's really walking the footsteps of our Lord Jesus Christ. It's really trying to get closer to him. To know him. To do his will. Prayer is important in the season of Lent. We shouldn't forget to pray because prayer is our communication to him. Sure we may have our bad times. We might have doubts about the future..because the future is sometimes a scary place. But we have to always have presence of mind. We need to positive and not to worry about it. God will always guide us. The Lord will always be there by our side. Sure we may have our up's and downs and our trials. It's part of life. Our Lord went through many trials but in the end there was light. There was salvation. It's because he always had faith. Having faith is whats keeps up in check. Purity is what we need..simplicity is the key to life..prayers and hard work. In the end we will be awarded. These 40days aren't just giving something up. It's really walking in his steps...
