| Update:
I left UNC.
I'm joining the Navy.
I leave May 30th for bootcamp in Great Lakes, Illinois (north-ish of Chicago).
I will then be going to Pensacola, Florida for my tech training in Air Traffic Control.
All plans to obtain a nursing degree are in tact.
Excitement is at full throttle.
Peace.

| It's almost Thanksgiving. I'm so excited. Usually at Thanksgiving, we
have about six people around to eat with, and most of them aren't
family, just family friends. This Thanksgiving no one is going out of
town, which means I get to see my entire Denver family at once -
disincluding my niece (extremely unfortunately). She left me the cutest
message on my cell phone this weekend, just saying she missed me and
that she loved me. I can't even believe she's almost six, partially
because I've helped watch over and raise her since she was four days
old.
Anyway, not too much goes on. No love interests, no insanely..
interesting stories. I did get in a bit of trouble, and that bites, but
I'll be biding my time via community service and a few hundred dollars.
Also, I didn't do so hot this semester. I go over it in my mind, and
while I understand the difficulty of one class (Biology was a real
bum-hurt situation), I don't quite comprehend what the hell happened
with the others. Maybe I won't do as poorly as I'm expecting, but I
fear my semester grades severely.
What else.. nothing, really. Just hanging out with friends, watching
Star Wars, working out. I'll have you guys know that I actually've lost
the freshman fifteen since I've been in college. I smoke more than your
mom, but I jog regularly and have lifted weights more often than I had
in the year prior to college.. and I eat less, and somewhat healthier.
So, kudos on the fact that I at least have my health.
And I get excellent reviews at work. I "usually exceed" what is
expected of me, which is pretty righteous, since I totally thought so.
It's always splendid to hear that your bosses notice your work, even
after completely fudging up in your first couple weeks (i.e.: four days
of no show/no call. Oops).
Yeah.. so.. I can't think anymore. I have to go to bed.. because I work
early in the morning and have a pretty busy day ahead of me. Which
fucking reminds me I forgot to make a new appointment to meet with my
academic advisor. Well, thank you Xanga.
Hope you guys are doing well, since your blogs are just as sparse as mine.
Love.

| Do I look drunk in my profile picture, because someone said I do and I'd
rather not be displaying myself in a way that conveys me as a lush.
Even though it took me three times to spell "lush" correctly. Oy.

| Alright, so here's a breakdown of what I've been doing:
Monday - No work. Bio and Stat class.
Tuesday - Work. 6:30 AM. Lots of heavy lifting. Psych class.
Wednesday - No work. Bio and Stat. Spelunking? Not sure.
Thursday - Work. 6:30 AM. Psych class. Toke. Drinking at Sikorski's.
Drunken kickball. Toke. Drink at Sikorski's. Spelunking, definitely.
Friday - No work. Missed Bio lab. Bio lecture. Stat class. Toke.
Drinking at Buck's. Drinking at Jasper's. Drunkeness. Toke. Pass out,
fully dressed.
Saturday - No work this weekend. Yay. Chillin' out. Recouperating.
Backyard concert of for friends' band (Paracusis - find on MySpace).
Really cool show. They're like a groovy Tool. I hear a mixture of Phish
and Tool, but I've never heard Phish. Or have I? Anyway. Meet lots of
people I happen to work with. Drink through three kegs. Still manage to
bring coffee and cookies to my friend's radio show to help sober him up
(since I helped him play beer pong at said party).
Sunday - Recouperate. Finally.
Monday - Classes. Buy apple-scented shampoop and conditioner.
Tuesday - Work. And spelunking tonight at 12:30. Woohoo!
You see! Not much goes on here. I don't write
anymore. I don't even have an English class to take this year, because
I tested out of them during high school and they won't allow me to take
sophomore classes. I just sit around with my roommate (who's really
awesome if I've never mentioned) and watch the Monsterfest or
Monstermash or whatever it is on AMC. I'm hardly witty anymore, and
most phone calls I receive are inquiries as to where parties are or
where others might buy some sort of substance. But I have been working out! That's.. that's about all I've accomplished.
I hope ya'll are in splendid health, mentally
and physically, and that life's just a bit more interesting wherever
you may be. Happy Halloween if I forget to mention!
