I'm bringing Xanga back - drop a comment if you're with me!

I am told that i am boring on here.. sorry i am not a creative writer... Allie!! ha ha

But I am back in Lubbock now getting ready for my junior year at Tech and i am more excited than ever before, as i said in my previous post.  So far we have gotten everything in our apartment moved in and Robert is finally moved in its going to be fun this year.  We are just waiting on our last couch so that we have enough places to sit everyone. 

I have gone and seen friends from home that are now here at tech and it is great to see so many people here.  It has been some late late late nights here at the apt ha ha i dont think i have gotten in bed before 5 am most days since being back.  Its been good seeing everyone. 

Last night was a lot of fun! Didnt do too much in the day and then last night Allie and her roomates, Courtney, and Heather came over and they are a lot of fun! We went to Stangle to see Suzanne ( Nats) sister and we hung out in the dorms a while.  Then we went to Whataburger to eat at like midnight.  After Courtney and Heather upset Robert and made him leave... he walked home.. through the ghetto of Lubbock.  By the time we finished eating and we went driving down the streets looking for him and calling his name we get to the apt and he was sitting there playing xbox ha ha!! After that we watched tv and then about 2 am heather decides she wants to play volleyball, basketball, or football. So we go out and play basketball and me and robert took the three of them on, we wont the first and let them win the second...

Now after playing to games we were sweating so we went and stuck our feet in the pool to cool off, then we decided we wanted to go swimming so we did!! That was fun, good night of random college fun!! It was a fun weekend. 

Tomorrow is 99 cent steak night i am looking forward to and ofcourse the free ice cream socail on campus!!

Well that is a short update for now on whats goin on in my life!

Well it is August, which means not too much longer before i head back to Lubbock to start another fall semester at Texas Tech!! Wow i love that school, there is just something about it that i can't explain that i love and enjoy.  I know its the people and the friends i have made, but the campus is just great too.  Anyways i am definately ready to get back to my apartment to see Jacob and Byron and now Bobby is moving in so i am really excited! I do not know how i am going to get anything done .... school wise that is.

Well summer has been great i have gone to many places, seen many things, and have learned alot.  If anything i have learned the most is to think for myself, no what i used to think, or that is what my parents would want, or what is everyone else doing.  No it is to think for my self.  maybe that is the reason they tell us to go to college, not to "get smarter" but because of the diversity do we get to know other people and other lives that we would never have been around if we just stayed where we were, our home towns etc.   But I am glad that i have been able to go to college in order to see the world.... and it is big despite what Disney says.

Life is hard, there are no easy answers, every choice we make determines the future... kinda scary huh?  Every situation is different because of the circumstances.  Now there is no need to make excuses but everything big in our lives happen whether it was because of something we did or not, or someone else it has happened.  Why am i talking about this? Im not really sure why, i have had lots of time to sit and think and to wonder, and to realize i am an adult and i need to know what i believe/feel about things in life.

I have seen different parts of the world and we freakin forget how blessed we are here in America and are very SELFISH people.  I had plenty of time to think in kenya when i was with my good buddy brandon... since there was no tv, or radio, at least easily accesible so i got to spend time thinking, admiring, spending time with God.... which is amazing if we stoped with our "busy" lives.... which we inevitably cause, ironic huh?

Anyways... life is funny...
I have just put a summary of things going on in my mind there are too many to write and that is the way it is all the time.  I am glad for this though.  Things are goin' fast now, i go back Aug 18th with robert, and then come back the 25 for my friend Big John's wedding!! So many engements and weddings coming up, it is amazing and i am happy for them all!!My prayer is that they know it wont be easy and that it is somthing you work together through and i pray for them all.

WELL I am doing it, i am getting Xanga to come back to its old status, i believe that it is still in everyone to jot down their ideas and thoughts and to just have fun!!Where has all the people gone? I have gone through and deleted several people from my subscription list that quite xanga along time ago, and yet i still have 92 friends on here..... so where is everyone i ask?!
And also .. mainly b/c myspace you cant do this.. they have a blog section but their servers are to dang slow!! Takes forever for anything to load on that stupid site... so why does everyone change from here to myspace?
There are soo many NEW cool features on xanga... what is xanga boost? and then the photo albulm you can upload!! pretty sweet stuff!!
I hope to get some feedback and maybe some chatter on here again
