and anyone else who likes them.
Here's my new garden spot. These were taken in May, everything is bigger now, and I've put more in.
There's a sunny side and a shady side. I've got hummers, finch, cardinals, bluebirds, woodpeckers and we had a huge bunch of purple martins this year. And the occasional crow comes by to eat the whole corn I put out for them. They are really funny.
I love to sit out here. I can watch the cattle and right now Hacinta the Arabian is in that pasture, greatly improving the view.
The rare "rock" flower.....we got these rocks in Idaho when we were up there two years ago, dropping Paden off.
and some miniature hollyhocks, courtesy of Becky.
Asiatic lillies, they are beautiful in the spring, but then they die and are ugly the rest of the summer. They spread and come in lots of different colors.
Shasta daisies next to the house. I have four small bunches in the garden, but they aren't blooming yet. Daisies always look so happy to me.
The hollyhocks are everywhere. Next year we're going to try to organize them. I said that last year, and the year before........
Hostas, I have two big groups of these......
And of course, the planters.
We put this big rock in the front driveway................
so we wouldn't run over these! Killdee eggs.
And I think these are my favorites. I bought a shaker can of wildflower seeds at Walmart, and they actually came up! I love all the colors mixed together.
They should come up every year, and I think I'll put in some more!
These are waiting to be assimilated.
And I have a very small pond,
with two very shy goldfish.
There you go Mom. Love ya!
