The MTA strike issue is throwing my weekend off.  I got such contradictory feelings about it.  As I sympathize with MTA workers on a fair and hopefully good raise, their threat of a strike is threatening to finish off my weekend trip which cost $$$.  So I am wishing really hard that they get their raise and not strike so that I can go on my trip without being ordered to come to work.

Nevertheless, I am packed and ready to go.
