Thoughts:

    If there is anything we don't like to do, it's wait. Maybe that is why God is so interested in us learning to do it! There is something purifying about remaining strong in tough times and remaining faithful when ill winds blow. So God gives us times of waiting to see if our search is really for him or merely for something new or easy.

    Loving Father, I know you have waited for me so many times -- for me to show my faith, repent of my sins, grow in holiness, come to you in prayer, act more mature, give to those who cannot return my care ... Help me as I wait for you to show me the way with my decisions, to act to relieve my need, and to reveal your presence in my loneliness. I really do seek you with all my heart. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen

ITS WEDNESDAY WHICH MEANS IT'S ALMOST FRIDAY!

and then ill be home. very excited. everything is going well. but home is going to be a beautiful thing.

but just a reminder that on sunday is the partay. im gunna say get to the house around..2. and if you want to bring a snack or something to share that would be a huge help.

sooo im going to go do homework and take a nap before my next classss yo.

im learning so much and im really excited to be here.

ALSO my dad's going to be teaching at LCS next year!!!!! so pumped

she gave me anti-diarrheal pills...and dreads.

 school's been going well out here in upstate NY. definately different from anything i have ever experianced. i really miss my friends though. This week was especially stressful cause i waited till the last minute to do a paper or two and finish some stuff that was due cause im dumb. so i was up till 3 one morning doing a research paper, then i was up till 1 and woke up at 5 to study for a test on the book "70 Greatest Christians" and "In the Shadow of Mnt. Kilimanjaro" both pretty decent books just not a good "lets go sit down and read for 3 hours". one of them mentioned beer alot. alot. but i think i did fairly well on it.

but cause of my lack of sleep i got sick. dang head colds are so annoying.

yesterday was saturday so i slept in and then talked with kevin for a long while, that was very refreshing cause i hadnt talked to him all week...and THEN i went to a Barn Dance! whicked fun oh my gosh. it was so great. then a group of us went bowling with the big balls (my first time!) and I WON! 131. i thought that was pretty cool.
with one pin left in the middle i sat down and had it roll at 1.65 mph...and i still hit the pin.

so that was great, but then i had such a bad migrane my eye was tearing and the roof of my mouth was swollen and i felt liek someone was pinching my brain. so i asked my room mate for tylenol...and she handed me anti-diarrheal pills....if you know me at all you know that would have been a major problem.

but thankfully i read the label before i took em. and that was at 2 am.

so now im in my room after church, lunch, two games of checkers that got stand stilled, and an intense game of pingpong. i have alot of reading to do

but do not worry ill be home in 12 days. i cannot waite

OH YEAH...i tried dreads...didnt work so well. so they're out. but here's apicture anyway

college life

So here ive been at bible college for more than a week and i have not gotten home sick...yet. the people here are fantastical, the food is not as great...lets just say im becoming a vegitarian haha.

the classes require A TON of reading work, which i dont mind, but when you have to finish reading 9 books by the end of september, counting the old testament...not something i personally ENJOY. but its what God has put on the table. so i shall eat of it.

i have three amazing room mates whom i get along with suprisingly like sisters (laughing out LOUD even after hours and waking up to jump on eachother...good stuff)

tonight i started the last class to be added to my list for the semester and i freaked out cause this lady...wow. crazy insane lady but defiantely someone who i admire in many ways. she's just very strict. i barely moved the whole class and my heart was in my throat the entire time...ooo boy

I am also now playing guitar on one of the 5 worship teams for our school (a school of 120 girls, 85 boys, not including married or part time students) which i thought was definately a blessing.

im making alot of new friends and have already mistakenly called it "home"...

but... i truly alot..alot miss my home.

October 6th-the 10th (MY 17th BDAY!) is my first brake. so that should be great.

i love and miss you all. and to you in PI...make some noise please causeeee its definately going to need it. (remember what i told you diana! <3)
