I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor - it is the gift of God.Ecclesiasties 3:12-13

Currently Reading
The Opinionated Knitter
By Elizabeth Zimmermann
see related

The sun we enjoyed so thoroughly for the last two days has decided to hide itself behind a voluminous quilt of clouds. But we still have signs that the sun was here; the apple tree is putting out green leaf buds and the lawn needs mowing.

I love this knitting book.  Elizabeth Zimmermann is such a common sense woman who believes that women have a brain cell or two between their ears and can and should use them. Her patterns are so straight-forward and honest. I guess I would call it "wholesome" knitting for lack of a better term.  And her reminisences are delightful to read. Courtney is currently following a raglan sweater pattern from Elizabeth and it is turning out very lovely. I will post a picture and show it off when she finishes it.

My tea arrived today and I feel at peace again. Life is at its best when one has a decent cup of tea. For anyone longing for a truly wonderful tea experience go to www.specialteas.com. I have been ordering from them for a while now and have never been disappointed.

I have taken my measuring neurosis to a new level...I can measure the tea to the gram and then measure the water to the fraction of a fluid ounce and produce a "precise" cup of tea. Oh, the simple thrills in life.

Mrs. Wright, that was a wonderful post.  I very much agree with you; tea is wonderful.  Life is wonderful when there is tea to be had.  Again I say, wonderful post. :)
