Expertise: I'm fully qualified to do absolutely anything I put my mind to. Mainly, that means I'm just plain gutsy and make it work for me. I may not be successful in everything I attempt but, at least I tried???! Right???!

| Considering a sabbatical.........from Xanga.
My life is busy. I'm more caught up on reading than I am on typing here in Xangaland.
I was introduced to Blogger. I'm still trying to figure it out. So my curious bone is pointing me towards that site more than it is to my familiar one.
I'm also still recovering from The Big Apple. It was an awesome trip. I'm just still dragging. I don't bounce back as quickly as I used to and regular life with the family doesn't give me a two week recovery period. So, here it is.
The honest truth. I'll be sporadic and I'll be reading.

| Praise-a-lujah!**I see the garage floor!!! I've got 1.5 mountains left before I start on this week's laundry. I can't imagine what the water bill will be like.
**The house is almost back in shape, I've got floors and dusting left.
**I'm going to The Hair Goddess today!! Yesterday, I got a pedicure thanks to Mimi & a Christmas present cashed in... and they managed to talk me into a mini-manicure as well which evened up my nails.
Today is the rest of me day... and then I pick up the kiddies at 1:00 for some more fun filled mountain climbing, dusting, and floor cleaning!! Not to mention packing.... UUUGH... It's going to be COLD in NY.
Off to the Goddess!!

***I took the red out!!! The base is my "natural" brown or as close as we think it is. I've got some different highlights of lighter caramel and blonde. The cut is similar but thinner (it's getting warmer) and I'm back to semi-bangs.
***No dusting has taken place however..... The laundry is two loads away from being finished and that includes this weeks laundry!!!!!!!!!

| Back home...My short vacay is over. It rained and was gloomy most of the time, so I didn't get any beach time. No worries though, it's not like I wanted to put my body in a bathing suit anywayz.
Hubby did an AWESOME job of whipping the house into shape. I'm working on finishing the mountains of laundry that are left. When he cleaned out the garage, he managed to find 1/2 of our wardrobes out there. I told you I hate laundry. I figure if I can "lose it" and then buy new stuff I won't have to wash it.
Course.... now we're officially on a budget. And my new least favorite words are..... "It's not in the budget" Oh. Well.
I'm off to NYC in 3 days. Still not sure what I'm packing. | | |
