Sooooo, I'm not going camping.  I will still be hanging w/some friends from school, so I will still be pretty much gone from my place my entire vacation...thinking I'll go to my parents' place on Wednesday...

Fun times are coming shortly!!  :p

Comedy club fun-ness!!

Well, this past Friday night I picked Chris up from his place and met Jason, Dave, Dave's gf Kate, and about 4 others at Wit's End for the Friday night comedy show...fun times!!

The comedians were decent...loved the first guy's "not the opinion of Starbucks" thingy...and the second guy's "gene pool lifegaurd" thingy...lol!! Again, fun times!!

After the comedy club, I took Chris home.........when I got home, Lizzie and I stayed up a while...talking...playing a game...

I had this weekend off...never in the five yrs that I've worked for WM have I been scheduled off a weekend...I've always had to request weekends off...

And next weekend, I'm going camping!!!  YAY!!!

Blah...

Today is rather--blahish.  I ended up sleeping on the couch all night...I really didn't intend to do so, but I fell asleep reading my book and stayed asleep throughout the night...considering it's more of a loveseat than a couch, I was a little cramped when I woke up at 7am...

I worked a lovely 6 days in a row at work...had a 7-3 yesterday...off today and tomorrow...yay!!  I'm tired.  I think a nap will be coming once I'm back at home again...

Right, the job: I turned it down.  As much as I really, really, really wanted to take that job, I couldn't.  In the long run, I would've gotten burned out w/all the stuff I'm currently into...Wal-Mart, Hospice, School...adding Valley HealthCare would've done me in...I wouldn't've been able to quit WM, so yeah...

Blah.

Today is inventory day at WM...darn, I get to miss it.  Lol!!

Here's a question: why are ppl so disappointing??  Perhaps I expect too much??  No...not really.  I don't.  I don't expect much at all actually...and yet, some still disappoint me greatly... **sighs**

Woot!!

Hey ppl,

Got news: I have an interview this WEDNESDAY at Valley HealthCare System.  I'm sooooo excited!!  I could rid myself of the disease known as Wal-Mart.  What an exciting day that might be...

Other than this, life is pretty good...I'm keeping busy w/work...my social life isn't too bad either...lol!!

Yesterday I ended up working a 7am-5pm...fun stuff...we had 2 call offs, 1 person showed up 2 hrs late, and 2 ppl were scheduled for lunch at the same time--neither could decide to delay his/her lunch an hour so I could leave at my scheduled time...whatever.  An extra hour on the clock on a Sunday...and just after I've gotten another raise...yay.

I have a lovely 7am-6pm coming up...I'm actually SCHEDULED that shift...blah.

AND I'm going camping in a few weeks...yay!!  From July 25th-28th...can't wait!!  White water rafting--oh yeah!!

All I've got to say is: WOOT!!
