What is it?
Inspiring success. Encouraging dreams. These are the ideals that fuel passionate people involved with Junior Achievement.
We are a growing number of volunteers, contributors, parents, and
educators who reach out to nearly 95,000 Bay Area students, each year,
in grades K-12.
Together, we believe there's a lot that's right with today's kids. Kids
crave opportunity. Kids want to be successful. And kids dream big about
the future. Really big. We like that.
Since 1950 we have brought the exciting message of free enterprise and
opportunity to more than 500,000 Bay Area youth. We teach them to value
business and economics to improve the quality of their lives. It's why
we exist: to ensure that every child in America is prepared to meet the
challenges of the global economy.
